The first crow woke Ronan up, springing up from his bed and starting his daily work. By the time he was done dressing up and ready to eat, the thought that Stacey would not be eating with him in the dining room made him sigh as he called a maid.

“Who brought a bed for him?” He asked the guard beside him.

“I did.” Another voice retorted, turning his head to see Eric walking towards them.

“He’s my grandfather too. He’s my mate’s grandfather, and I’m the beta. I know he might have gone against your rules but as the beta, I can’t just watch him sleep on the floor like that.” Eric added, bowing to Ronan who ignored him.
