The rest of the day passed in a blur for Ronan, and also useless for him. He couldn’t do anything, either study or going out. He just roamed around the mansion, coming at intervals to check up on her and returning to his room.

“What’s wrong with you, your highness?” Janiya asked as they all ate dinner.

He had called them to the table because he didn’t want to be alone and also because he wanted to share something.

“I’ve been thinking of something.” He dropped his spoon and said.

Janiya and Eric did the same, exchanging glances before looking back at Ronan.

“What’s it Ronan? Is it about the girl or another thing?” He questioned.

“Yes, it’s about Stacey. I’ve been thinking of moving her room to the one beside mine. It’ll be easy to check up on her and make sure nothing goes wrong with her. Or what do you think?” He asked, eyes going back and forth between the two of them.
