Chapter 14 - Inconsolable

Slow realizations came rushing through me. And even though I tend to find answers, I can't even glimpse clues regarding the situations in my life.

It is not because of how I am not aware, but of how things tend to conceal the truth behind them.

I gently removed Angelo's hand that was holding me and I looked him in the eyes. It seems that I need to do this to ease the burden of the situation right now. And I will not lie about what I'm feeling. Because lying won't do anything good for our friendship.

"Angelo, we've been friends since the first year of college, I'm happy to be your friend. But for you to lie from the start, I can't assure you that it's alright." I sincerely said to him.
