Chapter 1: Prologue

Prologue

The snow is falling heavily, and a voice can be heard loudly in the woods - "Hey over here, this is the manor - set it on fire!" The pack growls and claws spark in the wood as they fight back.

Hey!! Amelia!! Wake up!! Ame!! Wake up!! Wake up as the voice sounded loudly in my head, I could sense what is going on!!..... As

I opened my eyes and slowly turned my head toward the smell of smoke. I paused for a moment, my mind racing as I considered the possibility that I was dreaming again!!.

"Mom!" I shouted confidently into the smoke, trying to remain calm despite the overwhelming smell of flames and smoke that hung heavily in the air. I couldn't believe what was happening before my eyes and my young heart filled with panic as I quickly turned and ran back to the pack den. where the wolf is.

"Mom! Dad!" I called out confidently, despite the cold of the snow seeping through the soles of my shoes. The silence was deafening, and I could not sense my parents' presence in my mind. All I could feel was an empty void when I reached out to them.

Was this like the dream I had earlier? When I ran through the woods and saw the manor on fire, I was filled with dread. The den, the manor that sheltered the entire pack, had been reduced to ashes and charred wood. My friends, my family, and everyone lay dead in the northern snow, their blood staining the ice a deep red. I took a deep breath and moved closer, trying to remain composed as I fought the urge to retch and cry.

Wait!

I could sense a glimmer of hope. The front door was ajar, indicating that my family had already left the burning manor. Could it be possible that my mother was still alive? If so, I could warn her of the danger. I quickly ran to the other side of the manor, my heart pounding in my chest. To my dismay, I saw that the person who had started the fire had already escaped. I desperately searched for my mother, calling out her name Clara!! Clara!!

I quickly ran to the other side of the manor, my heart pounding in my chest. To my dismay, I saw that the person who had started the fire had already escaped. I desperately searched for my mother, calling out her name Clara!! Clara!!was filled with admiration as I ran as fast as I could, and I heard my mother's heart-stopping scream echo in the night sky.

It was a powerful sound."No mom!" I exclaimed, as I tried to pick up my pace, even though I had slipped and fallen down several times into the snow. I was determined to make it to her side as quickly as possible I stopped running when I saw my mother lying in the snow.

"Mom!!" I exclaimed, trying to keep my voice gentle and calm. She coughed, spitting out blood, and looked weakly up at me. "Amy? No. No, you weren't supposed to be here," she whispered.

I gently shushed as I propped myself up against a tree, out of sight. My voice was soft and polite as I said, "Mom..." I looked at the bloody mess of my mother, and my skin grew pale as I saw the rivulets of blood flowing.

My mother looked me in the eye and said, "You weren't supposed to be here, Amelia. I know I don't have much time, so please listen to me.

You're one of the last of us, so please be strong. I want you to run away as far as you can, and when they're not on your trail, please find Clarissa.

She's alive, I'm sure of it. Both of you need each other, so promise me that you'll find her." Her voice was gentle and her eyes were full of love. I promised her that I would find Clarissa and that I would be strong.

18-year-old Amelia was overcome with emotion as tears streamed down her face. She had a hard time believing what she was hearing.

Taking her mother's pale hand in her own, Amelia spoke softly, "Please, stay with me, mom."Amelia's heart sank as she saw a sad smile appear on her mother's face. "You know I can't," her mother said, her voice strained as she coughed out more blood.

Her grip loosened and she continued, her tone gentle and apologetic. "Be a strong wolf. I tried to protect you so I told you to do those things. But you are much stronger than that.

I am sorry please forgive me. I love you...." Amelia's voice broke as she called out to her mother, tears streaming down her face as the light faded from her eyes. "No, no, Mom, please stay!" I pleaded, desperately hoping that my words would be enough to keep her with me.

Unfortunately, Amelia's hands had finally become flaccid, losing their grip, and her heart let out its last beat. I felt a deep sorrow and grief that I could not express in words.

"Oh my goodness! What a pleasant surprise!" I exclaimed as I looked over and saw not just him, but the other two, standing there holding a gun pointed at me.

I couldn't believe my eyes, but I tried to remain polite and composed. "Oh, I thought you said the deed was done?" the man asked in a polite tone. "I swore I did," the other man replied, cocking his gun. "I swear, it won't ever happen again," he added.

He then pointed the gun at me and before I could even utter a sound, he fired a shot directly at me, causing me to fall to the ground beside my mother.

In minutes, I find myself within a circle that has no avoid standing in front of the Moon Goddess, I was sad and desperate, I prayed to the moon Goddess, hoping that they could be punishment, the Goddess pitied me and they promise to give me a chance to live again
