While I was working, I couldn't stop thinking about what Grace had said. Maybe I could give it a try, after all, I wouldn't be hurting anyone. I bit my lower lip and took out my phone from my bag. I searched for his number and stared at it for a moment, unsure whether to call him or not.

"This is so hard," I said to myself.

I took a deep breath, closed my eyes for a moment, opened them again, and looked at his number. I pressed the call button and waited until he answered. I stayed silent for a moment; I was already regretting it and I hadn't even proposed anything to him yet.

"Kat?" he called.

"Hello, how are you?" I replied.

I fell silent again. I didn't have the courage to talk about the subject; I was getting all tangled up because of paying attention to Grace.

"Are you okay?" he asked.

"Do you want to have lunch with me?" I asked him.
