"Why don't you hand it over to me then?" Maya asked, stretching her hand forward towards the file. "Let me see it."

Her requeat was met with resistance from Noah, who gave her a very hard stare, "There's no need to look at it," he informed her curtly.

"I just need to see it!" Maya replied with a sharp edge in her voice.

When Noah gave her a sharp look, she immediately composed herself, smiling sultrily, "I mean, I just wanted to help you."

Walking towards him, she ran a finger down his arm seductively, "Why don't you ever want me to help you, Noah?"

Noah held her hand suddenly, when it seemed like her finger was getting dangerously close to the file. She was definitely going to grab it any time from now.

For some reason, he did not want her to see the file.

Maya was not part of their team. He had only just found out about the case as well and since he had evidence such as this, then it was something huge.
