Bad reputation

"Get ready, we're going to that party. Not that I even find anything worthwhile there. I'm just going to check if I can find my next batch of sex slaves, ha ha ha", the voice laughed eerily.

"Hey sickos, the Alpha seeks your attention at the party".

"We're coming!", Mother Theresa yelled out.

"Whatever", the pack member replied and then stomped on the weak door before walking away.

"Alice, we have to go now so as to avoid the Alpha's wrath. I can't watch your brother get beaten. Also, please stay away from trouble", mother Theresa warned as she looked at Alice pleadingly.

"Alright mum, Josh, put on these clothes and Mum, these are for you", Alice said as she gave each one of them a bag containing their clothes.

Mother Theresa stared skeptically at Alice and then the bag before deciding to open it. The moment she caught a glimpse of what the bag contained, she gasped in shock and tears streamed down her eyes.

"David bought this, didn't he?" She asked while holding the clothes tightly. Although, the clothes wasn't sparkling but one could tell from the look and texture that it was very expensive.

"Yes, he did and he refused to acknowledge you not accepting it", Alice said making her Mum sigh repeatedly. No matter how much she wished she could express her gratitude, it would never be enough. Then she wondered how a parent wouldn't want such a wonderful son. He was warm-hearted, kind, handsome...

"Yuck, Mum. You shouldn't be saying that to my face. David isn't handsome. He looks more like a gorilla, the only difference is that he his fairer than a gorilla", Alice said while Mother Theresa's eyes widened in surprise. She couldn't believe she said that aloud.

Josh giggled as he watched the interaction between his mother and sister.

"Alright, let's dress up before it's too late", Mother Theresa said and immediately got to her feet. In the blink of an eye, they were all dressed up and on their way to the party.

Meanwhile, the pack hall was brightly lit and was bubbling in spirit. Everyone had on their best piece of clothing. The gathering was more like everyone was here to flaunt their wealth and not to find their mate. At the centre of the hall stood a pulchritude of peacocks and amongst them was the Alpha's daughter who loved attention more than she loved her life.

"Clink clink, ladies and gentlemen, please do take your seat", a middle-aged tapped on his wine filled glass and the sound gotten from it was loud enough to gain everyone's attention.

"So...as you all know, I called this gathering today cause of the mateless ones who are yet to find their mates and even the scrawny ones( omegas and weaklings).." he continued and everyone laughed in mockery knowing fully well what he meant.

"Enjoy the party" as soon as he said this, the door was pushed on and in his full flory walked in Justin with Veronica tightly holding on to his arm. She was practically sticking unto him appearing to want to merge herself with him.

Immediately, the ladies fawned over him and Veronica threw as many death glared as she could.

Not paying attention to any of them, Justin sat on the sit he was asked to seat on with Veronica literally taking the seat beside him. If only she could sit on his lap.

Mumurs filled the place and soon enough, the door opened once again. This time, a man with the same physique as Justin walked in with his beta. He was also handsome but not as handsome as Justin. What made the ladies stay away from this said man was his reputation and the aura he had. It was a very dangerous and scary one.

The said man whistled aloud not minding his appearance and swaggered off to take a seat, completely ignoring the attendant that was directing him to another seat.

Before the doors stood Alice, Josh and Mother Theresa who were currently having a talk with the guards who refused to let them in. Alice's wolf was unstable as she had caught a whiff of her mate's scent mixed with another's scent.

"Please let us in, the Alpha called for us" mother Theresa pleaded. Although none of them had interest in attending the party but they didn't wish to face the wrath of the Alpha, so they had no choice but to stay.

Alice moved closer to one of the guards and held his hands despite knowing what was coming next.

The next minute, Alice was roughly flung to the door which made a loud noise. The door had opened due to the force and all eyes was glued on the miserable looking lady on the floor.
