Chapter 7: Take off your clothes

The neon lights from the chandelier brightened the nightclub's atmosphere and gave Uno a warm feeling. No music was playing inside, yet the ambience was still sufficient to entertain him. He was on the L-shaped sectional leather couch in the corner of the space, wearing a grey long-sleeve crew neck sweater, dark blue slim-fit trousers, and black leather brogues on his feet. He sat serenely there with his legs crossed beneath the clear round table before him, holding a Bordeaux transparent glass half-filled with red wine in his right hand as his elbows propped on the table.

That table was bare. Only a handgun and the Quinta de Ventozelo Vintage Port are on it. On the opposite side, you could see the wine cellar encased in redwood panelling.

Uno raised his wrist, looking at the time on his watch. It was exactly half past midnight. He wondered what time his uncle would arrive after receiving a phone call earlier informing him that, this day, the old man intended to drop by his house. T
