From the moment I opened that goddamn door my thoughts had been on the main focus of her despite my dismay. First it was the dress then the secret injury she got from work she tried so hard to hide and now this. I kept my mouth shut about the incident amongst other things for the sake of my sister and not wanting to ruin the night because she wanted it to go so well but she’s gone now atleast for now and I had questions that sodmly needed answers to and I was going to get them by the end of the night if not sooner. She atleast owed me that. “Dawson” I called her name the moment I heard the front door close letting me know Mariah had officially left and it was safe to talk freely about what the hell she was doing. She didn’t respond she just got up collected the dishes that was on the table and took them to the kitchen. It seemed as if she was ignoring me but then once I followed behind her to the kitchen and realized she was in her head and wasn’t paying attention to me or the
