Chapter 42

I was just about to get on top of Jiv's car when my cellphone rang. He looked at me and told me to answer the call first.

'Mike? Why he calls me at this hour?'

"Hello Mike, is there a p---?"

"Babe, come here to CDH, your dad was rushed here,"

"What? Just when?" I got out of the car and looked at Jiv.

"Recently, my older brother called me to send an ambulance to your house. Where are you now?"

I was nervous about what I found out so I hurried into the car.

"Let's talk later, I'll be right there. Bye."

I immediately turned off the call. I remember Jivo that I didn't say goodbye. Shocks!

I rolled down the car window and shouted goodbye to him. But I had not yet finished letting him know that he had already gotten into his car.

"What are you doing?"

"I'm coming with you because it's late. Maybe something else will happen to you. What happened?" he inquired.

"Dad rushed at CDH."
