Owen shakes his head when he sees me approaching.

“It didn’t go well?” He asks.

I grumbled. Annoyed he would ask that when he clearly knows it didn't.

I move and get into the passenger seat. I’d been the one to drive us when we got here. Right now, I think I might run us into a wall. And he doesnt deserve that, even if he is getting on my last nerve.

“She told me she was pregnant.”

I said to him as he started the car.

“Yes, but you already knew that.” He replies, shooting me a glance to confirm if I remember.

“Yes. She doesn't know that.” I mutter, tracing my bottom lip with my thumb. “And I couldn’t exactly tell her I knew.”

When we went back to the hotel last night, I was able to think about it with a clear head. First, I couldn’t let her know I knew she was pregnant.

It seems suspicious that I know. Because then, how did I find out?

I can’t exactly tell her I used my werewolf abilities and spied on her, then I eavesdropped on her conversation.

That sounded weird, even to me.
