Veronica's Place

TYLER POV 5 

I saw how Veronica supported her mother as she lay down on the bed.Her mother was obviously really hard to get up. I couldn't help but feel sorry for their situation because I could clearly see her taking care of her sick mother. 

I just gasped because I didn’t know how I was going to start talking to Veronica and if she would agree to what I would ask from her.

 “Sir!” the boy called me. 

I was surprised when the young boy called me and Veronica immediately turned to where I was standing and was obviously surprised to see me. 

"Tyler ?!"she said incredulously.

 “Do you know him?”the boy asked her. 

"Just don't ask me.Come here and watch over mom" he ordered. 

She immediately approached me and asked why I was stuck in their place and what I was up to. 

"Why are you here?How did you know I live here?"she asked. 

"I can't contact you. Maybe you forgot we have an agreement Nica!" I told her with a frown.

 "Yes I know. My phone is broken so you can't really contact me but I can't believe you're really going here just for that agreement"she answered.

"Of Course!" I replied. 

"Nicky, who is your guest? Let him into our house so I can meet" her mother said with a smile.

We both looked at her mother and looked at each other. I saw her mother smile at me and invited me in. Veronica did nothing but invite me to enter their house. 

I immediately sat on the small sofa and felt detached as her mother looked at me.I looked at Veronica at that time. 

"I'll just get some water," she said.

 I couldn't help but look at her mother who had been looking at me then.She started to speak and I was surprised when she asked me.

 "Are you Nicky's boyfriend?"her mother asked with a smile. 

"Ahh .." Veronica answered immediately before I could speak. 

"We're just friends, mom," she replied.

 "Is that so? You're so handsome, what's your name?"her mother asked me again with a smile. 

"My name's Tyler," I replied. 

I didn't think her mother would be talkative and she told me so much about Veronica. I couldn't help but smile because of the kindness her mother showed me. 

After a while, I immediately said goodbye to her mother because I was going to a meeting and I immediately asked to talk to Veronica in depth and she agreed. 

"Elias, watch over mom first. I'll just go out for a while,"she ordered the young boy.

I didn't think that she was the cousin of the young boy who asked me for food earlier. I didn't think that their lives were that hard so I didn't wonder why she entered that kind of job.

"I think we don't have enough time to talk properly because I still have a meeting to go so I think we'll just meet tonight at the same place. Are you free right?" I said seriously to her. 

"Okay, all right, sure. Auntie will also come home later so someone will watch over mom. I'm sorry if you're stuck in our place to look for me,"she replied.

 "No, it's fine.i really enjoyed it" I said and smiled sparingly. 

Those people  we met stared at us as we walked out into the narrow street but we just ignored it.

 “Did you enjoy my mother's talkativeness?”she said and laughed.

"Yeah you're right" I smiled at what she said. 

“Oh no! Don't think about what she says about me. It's just a joke, ”she said. 

"So it's not true that I'm the only man who visited your house?" I asked.

 "Okay fine,that's true,"she replied.

 I shook my head and I saw that she was teased with what I did. 

"Why ?!"she asked emphatically.

 "Nothing, see you tonight" I said and smiled sparingly at her. 

"Okay"she replied. 

"Anyway, take this" I said as I handed over the money.

“What is this?”she asked as if surprised to see the money I was holding. 

"Accept it for your mother. I just wanted to help" I told her calmly. 

"Are you sure? Is there any condition for this?"she asked. 

"All you need to do is prepare your mother for the operation tomorrow. I'll take care of everything" I replied. 

"Really ?!"she asked incredulously. 

I just smiled sparingly and nodded.I immediately got in my car because I still have a meeting to go and I don't want to miss my meeting with Mr.Villar. I'll waste a billion by chance.

 While driving, I can't help but think about the condition of Veronica's mother. She is a very kind person to have such a serious illness. I became even more convinced that Veronica needed my help so I knew she would not refuse me what I would ask for. 

When I entered the Restaurant there were women looking at me and I shook my head because it's really annoying.From a distance,i saw Mr. Villar smiled and stood up to greet me and shake my hand. 

"Hello Mr.Villar, nice to meet you. Am I late?" I said to him, smiling.

 "No. you're not. Nice to meet you too Mr. Jackson. Finally we met,"he replied smiling. 

"Yeah, thank you for your interest in investing in our company" I said smiling.

We immediately sat down to start the conversation. After a while, we agreed and signed a contract.This is one of my achievements in the company and I know my father will be happy when he finds out that we have another investor.We earn billions every month from our company's investments so it is a big achievement for me.

When I came out of the restaurant, I immediately called the Doctor I knew to perform a kidney transplant for Veronica's mother. I want the operation to be performed properly for her mother tomorrow as I said to her.

"Hello Dr.Walter, I need your help" I said calmly. 

Dr. Walter explained all the possible complications of the operation but he gave me an assurance that he would do everything to make the operation successful.I need to talk to Veronica about it because as Dr. Walter said, there can be many complications in the operation.

After I dropped the call,I gasped when I remembered what my father asked me to do. I don't know how long I will fool myself. I also don't know if Veronica will also agree about it.My mind was so confused and frustrated at those times.

While driving my way to the hotel,I just thought of buying a new phone for Veronica so that she can use it to contact me.When I entered the Phone shop, I was immediately greeted by a front desk to assist me in choosing the phone.I immediately made my choice and paid at the counter with my debit card. 

"Thank you sir, come again" the cashier told me with a smile. 

I smiled sparingly and walked out of the shop carrying the small paper bag with the new phone inside of it.

"I'm sure she will like it,"I said to myself.

Suddenly my phone rang and I immediately answered it when I saw Craig calling. But I was surprised to hear my father's voice and I just smiled. 

"Congratulations son, I heard you close the deal with Mr.Villar. I'm proud of you" he greeted me.

 "Thank you Dad" I replied smiling. 

"I know you are good in business so I have no doubt in your ability but I hope you get married so that you can inherit when the day comes. Don't be like me son, you deserve retirement when you get old" he said.

 “Dad…” I replied.

 "I want you to marry as soon as possible," he added.

 I just sighed and immediately said goodbye to him.He was happy when I said I am going to meet my girlfriend now and the worst thing is that he wants to meet Veronica as soon as possible.I was really under a lot of pressure from what was happening.I don't know if I can give him what he wants but I need to do it for the sake of the company.

When I arrived at the hotel that Veronica and I had agreed upon as before, I immediately walked inside.The front desk greeted me and I immediately checked in and went into the elevator.

When I arrived on the third floor of the hotel I walked to the right corner and immediately opened the door of room 102. I called their food service while waiting for Veronica and also took some liquor and poured it into the glass to ease my burden. 

I waited for a few minutes until someone opened the door. I looked at the door and saw Veronica wearing sexy shorts and wearing a sexy red blouse. I admit I was so impressed because she's definitely Gorgeous. But I'm still not interested.

 "I thought we were still in room 69"she said smiling. 

"Anyway, about what you said earlier? Do you mean that my mother's operation will be tomorrow?"she asked me.

“Yes, I already contacted Dr.Walter and he explained everything to me about the operation.I also want you to know about possible complications that can occur during surgery.I want you to be aware of this.”I said seriously.

"Yes I  know and I am willing to take a risk than to see my mother struggling with dialysis every month"she said seriously. 

"Well,he assured me that he will do everything to make the operation successful.So it's up to you now" I replied to her.

"Thank you"she said, smiling.

The concern for her mother was obvious in her eyes but she better knew the thing she was going to enter before she made a decision.I poured liquor into the glass and offered it to her so that I would also have the courage to say what I really meant then.

 "So let's have sex? We won't stop until you get what you want,"she said with a smile.

 “Ahh not now… I want to tell you something” I said. 

She looked at me and the curiosity was obvious on her face.I didn’t know how to begin what I am going to say.

 "What's that?"she asked curiously. 

I don't know how I'm going to tell her that she needs to pretend to be my girlfriend in front of my family because that's not in our agreement.I also can't quite imagine Veronica being able to do that thing because she's just a prostitute who I paid to give me a child.I took a deep breath first and started my first move.She was obviously surprised by what I did.
