Weeks.
Its been weeks yet nothing. Not a single drug was found in any of the locations they usually show up in. The last bit of drugs that were found was on the day the agents brought Carella in for questioning.It was like the supplier stopped supplying the drugs. The most drug invested part of the city had...stopped.What ever was going on, it didn't sit well with the agents.Donald and James walked back to their office with yet another unsucessful bust.There were no more drugs. Carella sat back in the car and took several deep breaths before she hopped out with Brian and Mark by her side.She soon forgot that there was a black car following them when she stopped infront of the small herb shop.She reached her right hand out and Brian took it in his little ones and stepped closer to his mom. Carella stood before a dead woman laying on the streched bed.Her hands were fisted by her side and shaking as she smelled the scent of disinfectant.No. She can't be dead?Carella still refused to believe that Sophia is dead. The funeral was held two days after Carella last saw Sophias' body at a near by cemitary.The day was sunny. The perfect weather mocked them of their loss.Carella stood among the people in full black next to Mark and all the people that came to see Sophia rest.As the priste spoke, Carella couldn't help but wonder who might have done this. Sophia was never the kind of person that creates enemies or even upsets people. She had never done anyone wrong.All Sophia ever knew was helping childern who had no homes and who had been abused by the system.Gradualy, one by one, the people gave their condolences and left while Carella stood infront of Sophias' grave without speaking a word.In the end, she got absolutely no answers more than a dead silence. Heather stood infront of the beautiful curvy gate and took a deep breath. Once she walks in, she will face the wrath of the cold and indifferent lady.
