Chapter five.

James and Doneld went back to their office and pulled out everything they could find on Carella Mink. Most of her file just says that she has been in the flower buisness for about six years, that she has a son of age 6 called Brian Mink, that her husband died a couple of years back but that was it. There was no more data on Carella Mink before seven years back. And that rose some suspision in both the agents eyes.

Doneld still can't shack the fact that he knows her somewhere. He kept staring at her picture that was displayed on his monetor.

Doneld and James seemed to be lost. James is almost convinced that Carella is behind all of this and that she is some how related to the Kazel case. And Doneld hasn't said a word as he kept looking at her photo as he moves his head from side to side.

"I am almost positive i know her." Doneld commented to his partner that was sitting next to him. After a few minutes though, all his questions were answered as one of the agents walked up to him and asked.

"Hey, why do you have Carella Jones on your screen?"

Doneld looked at him confused "That is not her last name. It's Carella Mink."

The agent shacks his head in disagreement "Nope. I don't know about any Jones, but that is Carella Mink. The blind greatest hostage negotiator there ever was until they day of the explosion. After that she desapeared. No one knows what happened to her after she met Kanzel but one thing is for sure...she was never seen again."

James and Doneld looked at eachother in disbelife. How is it possible.

"So she is blind..." James commented as he remembered that she never made a movement to take the list out of his hand. At first he thought it was arrognace but now he knew that she didn't see him. She couldn't see him.

"Dear God. That makes so much sence. Carella was the last person that has ever met Kazel untill he completely vanished. That means she knows who he is..." Doneld commented.

"Ya but she is blind. Her being the last person to see him doesn't make much of a difference. She still doesn't know who he is."  Said James. But after a long silence he continued "why didn't he kill her? I mean after the explosion that almost killed him, why did he spare her life? Unless...." before he could finish, Donled continued "unless she is working with him. And maybe the explosion was just a way to divert any attention from their relationship. I mean think about it, what are the odds of both of them disapearing for seven years after that explosion that was out of nowhere."

They looked at eachother like they have solved the entire case. The agent that was still listening to them commented "but even if what you say makes sence, how are u going to prove it."

"We need a search warrent. If she really does grow and sell her own flowers we can find more drugs in those pots."

Carella is sitting in the living room as her son Brian sits on her lap and tells her about his day. He was talking non stop, braging about his friends to her and Mark Lift-carellas trusted assistant- when they suddenly heard a loud pound on the door. The fence bells never rang so whom ever it was had another thing coming.

Brian hops off of her lap and grabs a chunk of her red sun dress with his hands and hides behind her legs. Mark immideately stood to his feets and leaped across the room as Marria-the trusted maid who is also his mother- opened the door.

James said no word but flashes his bage and the search warrent and gestered the rest of his team to the door to flip the house upside down. None of them waited to hear a word from the maid or the man in a black suit.

Carella slowly found her way out to the door and stood still as she hears running foots on her floor and scater through all the rooms. She can hear her stuff getting fliped, her flower pots getting broken but most of all, her son crying as he watched.

"Marria" carella called out to the old woman " please take my son to his room and keep him company."

Marria walked up to her, bend to her knees and pulled him away from his mother. Brian screamed and kicked as he kept pulling at her sun dress. Carella kneeled and hugged her son and whispered something in his ears. He immideately stopped crying and smiled at her. She knows that her son would be smiling so she smiled at his direction. He gave a strong kiss on her cheek and followed Marria to his room.

James approched her "the key to your garden." He demmanded. Still in her sun glasses she just stood there with no words. She knows that if she gives them her keys they would ruin her garden but then again if she refuses, they will break their way in.

"Mark" she called out and he gave James the keys to her giant garden.

James took the key and opened it. When they walked in, his eyes wide with awe. It was a magical garden, filled with different coloured flowers big and small. It was a treat to the eyes and a healer to the soul. He almost felt bad for what his team is about to do to this holy place. But then again he remembered that it was a step to taking down Kanzel and his goons. So he gestured to his team once again and they start to break and toss any pot flower that was vissible to the eyes....
