Chapter 14

Finally, it's the last day before break, and I and can't wait. My butt is going to be lazy and sleep in. I am headed into my second to last period to take my test and then sit and do nothing until the end of the school day since I took my test for last period last week. When the bell rang I headed into the hallway and saw Kinzlee. She waved at me and motioned for me to come over to her and I did. She told me she was throwing a little party Friday and invited me. I told her I didn't think I'd be able to come and she said to call her if I could and she gave me her phone number. I headed into my next class and ad sat there writing in my journal until school was over. When I got off the bus I didn't see Brooks's SUV. when I got home my dad was already home which wasn't normal. I walked in and asked if he was ok and he laughed and said he was, then asked me why I asked. I told him it wasn't like him to come home early unless he wasn't feeling good.
