Chapter 2

When I woke up this morning I had a big smile on my face. I was replaying yesterday in my head. I kept picturing his smile and every time I did, I would blush and my heart would race. I figured I'd go for a walk since it was something I did when I was bored so I put on my sports bra and my thin workout pants and headed up the street. When I turned at the first stop sign my heart started pounding. There he was outside with some kid I am going to guess is his brother or cousin playing basketball in the driveway 2 houses from me. I thought about turning around and going back home but decided to go ahead and go on my walk.

As I passed by him he stopped and smiled at me. I smiled back but kept walking and when I turned to look at him and he was standing there with his arms up like where are you going. I held up my finger telling him to wait and I kept walking. When I came back around the other side of the neighborhood I debated on going home but I ended up going back over there to see what he wanted. He was finishing up his game and when he was done playing he walked out to the end of the driveway.

He said, "Why did you go around the block?"

I smiled and said because I was out for a walk and you were in the middle of playing so I figured I would continue my walk. He smiled and said,

“what are you doing today?"

I said not much probably going to sit around the house. Why? He said,

“want to hang out for a few minutes?"

I started blushing and said yes. We sat there and talked about all his tattoos and he asked what all I was into. I told him I used to play ball and that was pretty much all I did and he said he joined the Marines when he was 18 and had just gotten out not long ago. We sat there talking for about 30 minutes well mainly him talking. I was distracted by how gorgeous he was to think of anything to talk about and honestly I really don't know what he was saying to me because I couldn't concentrate on listening to him. I nodded my head and said yeah a few times just to make it seem like I was listening.

I told him I needed to head home before my dad came looking for me which was not really going to happen since he was too busy on his computer to notice I wasn't back yet but I had to get away from him. Being that close to him and being able to smell his cologne or whatever that scent was, was doing something to me that shouldn't have been happening. I said bye to him and headed home. When I got home my dad hadn't even noticed I was gone and was still sitting at his computer. I went to my room and got a change of clothes and went to take a shower.

I know I hadn't really done anything to get dirty or too sweaty to need to take a shower but I really needed to take one after being around him. Like I said it was doing something to me that shouldn't have been. I know he is too old for me and I know he doesn't like me like that but I was very much attracted to him and I couldn't help it. After my shower, I went back to my room and listened to music for a while, and cleaned my room until I was called to come eat dinner.
