Chapter 5

“ Dad?. ”

Howard looking at Elyna with mixed feeling. What he’s supposed to say? Like it or not, it’s time now. They must know the whole story. It’s their destiny.

“ You know him?, ” Elyna asked while pointed at Harley. 

Howard shaking his head softly. 

“ And this monster?, ” Elyna continues asked while pointed at Adryan this time.

“ Monster?, ” Adryan looking at Elyna angrily and annoyed. 

Elyna glare annoying at Adryan then she looking at Howard back. 

“ Yes, I know, ” Howard sigh heavily while looking at them arguing for no reason. How they supposed to working together in the future?

“ How long do you know them?, ” Elyna still asked as she really feel curious and want to know it so badly. Maybe because it’s involved Adryan. 

“ Honey, I will tell you everything. Don’t worry, ” Howard know Elyna really have no patience especially when she is curious. 

“ Let’s take a sit, ” Harley sit on the couch alongside with them.

Harley and Howard looking at each other before they open their mouth to tell the whole story so that they will understand who they are, what they are and their destiny.

“ Adryan… You’re the real vampire, ” Harley said while looking at Adryan in the eyes. 

Adryan looking at Harley with an expression that show he doesn’t understand with that. He shaking his head did not believe what Harley just said.

“ You must be joking or whatever but still it doesn’t funny. Really not funny, ” Adryan chuckling.

“ Your dad also real vampire, ” Howard bringing Adryan dad into the conversation. 

“ What do you mean?, ” Adryan asked with confused expression.

Harley and Howard take a deep breath.

“ You mean like my dad got a bite from vampire or whatsoever it is, ” Adryan said again as both of them just silence.Maybe thinking about the right words to say.

“ No, he didn’t got a bite though. He’s real vampire which mean he doesn’t a bite from vampire. He turn into the vampire itself when he turn into 18 years old. Real vampire and bite vampire is different. Real vampire has it special abilities, ” Harley explain everything carefully. Hope it doesn’t drive Adryan crazy.

“ So you’re saying that I will turn into vampire once I turn 18 years old and I will have special abilities? Like what? I can fly? Breath forever underwater? Or sleep underground for the entire life?, ” Adryan clearly seem did not believe it. 

“ If you can fly, don’t forget to wear underwear outside the pant, ” Elyna burst into laughing so hardly until her tears falling down. 

Adryan grunts madly while looking at Elyna. She really have a death wish!

“ Well, I should let that demon take you away so that my life will be so in peaceful, ” Adryan regret to defended Elyna earlier.

“ You didn’t help me okay. Harley did, ” Elyna rolling her eyes annoyingly. What a dumbass!

“ I did screamed at him not to bothered you, ” Adryan clearly unsatisfied with the words that Elyna just saying and also did not want to lose to a girl that he hate. Well, not hate but just annoying. 

“ Yeah you screamed like a girl, ” Elyna smirk which make Adryan heart more in fire. 

“ You really an asshole, ” Adryan grasping his hand out of anger. 

Howard and Harley slap their own forehead softly and sighs heavily.

“ Can you both stop being childish?, ” Harley said in serious tone while looking sharp at both of them.

“ How will you both fight with your enemy when both of you are being enemy itself?, ” Howard also got in their way of conversation. 

“ What!, ” both of them shout shocked. 

Then they looking at each other and shaking their head. 

“ No way I will cooperate with him, ” Elyna groans. 

“ Like I want to, ” Adryan squinting while his hand crossed hug himself.

“ You must, ” Harley said it strictly with some serious expression on his face.

“ You said that Adryan will become a vampire but not me. So, why we must work together when I didn’t even has a super strength or super natural like him?, ” Elyna asked weirdly and did not understand why her?

“ You do have, ” Howard looking softly at his daughter Elyna.

“ What? You mean I will become a vampire too like him?, ” Elyna seem really not happy.

“ Hahh! Now let see who wear underwear outside the pant, ” Adryan laughing so loud as he felt so much joy that he can attack Elyna back. 

“ Shut up!, ” Elyna scream right in his ear. Serve yourself out!

“ If I become deaf, you’re the first person that I will suck all the blood out of your veins, ” Adryan point his finger at Elyna with anger expression on his face.

“ They’re totally out of their mind. ” Howard and Harley exhales heavily.

“ I know right, ” Howard shaking his head. 

“ You deserve to be deaf, ” Elyna smirk proudly. 

“ Hey, can both of you stop already? We have big problem here than your arguing, ” Howard said it seriously. Until when want to heard they arguing over something that doesn’t even make sense to argue at first. 

Elyna and Adryan turn their face away from each other. 

“ Elyna, you are the most important character in this situation. Your life, Adryan life and also all of their life is depends on yours, ” Harley looking into Elyna eyes deeply in hope that she will understand her responsibilities. It’s a big matter.

“ Sounds like a lot of burden, ” Elyna said it slowly.

“ Maybe yes, maybe not, ” Harley tried to calm her down. 

“ What do you mean by maybe hmm? It’s obviously that’s a burden. Certainly, ” Elyna said it with an anxious feeling. 

“ Once you do it, you will feel more like you’re the only hope to them and that desire will growing inside of you, ” Howard said it with a fully confidence.

“ How you can be so sure? Are you certain that will be me?, ” Elyna looking at Howard with unsatisfied feeling. 

“ Because I’ve seen it. ”
