"Do you want me to make breakfast?"

Adrik gave him a puzzled look and wondered if he was deaf.

"Hey, I don't think anyone else here is Darwin." So it's clear that I told you to prepare breakfast and also you'll be doing the cooking from now on here in my mansion."

"What? Cooking!!! Is he okay? I'm a scientist, not a chef." Darwin was sniffing angrily muttering to himself.

"Now, go. "What are you looking forward to?"

Adrik's deep voice echoed inside Darwin's ears, causing him to become aware.

Well!! Darwin had no way out of here because if he escaped Adrik's protection, he would be killed.

So, he walked towards the kitchen, a fake smile on his face.

*Outside the mansion*

Olivia had driven early to Adrik's mansion to have a nice conversation with him, and on the way she met Lucas. She comes to a complete stop in her car and dashes towards Lucas.

"Hey, you stop there."

Lucas turned around to see who had the audacity to call him that, but he sighed when he saw Olivia standing there.

"Hello, ma'am. How may I assist you?"

"I'd like to know who that blonde man in Adrik's mansion is. Is he really his boyfriend?"

"Well, I can't say anything about my Boss. It'll be as if I'm divulging a trade secret of my boss. Please accept my apologies for my rude behaviour."

Olivia sighed, she couldn't force him to reveal everything about Adrik or he'd be killed for being disloyal.

She was the daughter-in-law of a Mafia family, so she was well-versed in the rules. If someone tries to deceive their boss and becomes disloyal, they are shot on the spot.

"No problem, you can go now."

"Thank you very much, ma'am."

She dashed inside the mansion to see what was going on.

She was dressed casually today, with no sexy clothes on. Maybe it's because of what she saw yesterday, or maybe it's because she wants to follow Adrik's lead.

Whatever the reason maybe, she still looks stunning.

Adrik was sitting on the sofa, his head resting on the back of the sofa and his eyes closed.

He was dressed in his signature attitude, but he appears tired.

"Hello, Adrik."

Olivia greeted him from a distance and waited for his response; when he did not respond, she walked closer to him.

"Hello, are you tired?"

Adrik opened his eyes to see Olivia standing there.

He took her hand in his and drew her alongside him.

He has no idea why he did it, but he wanted to.

He locked his lips on hers and began kissing her.

Olivia was like what had happened to him. Is he currently kissing me? For her, this was a time of pleasure.

She, too, desired this and drew him closer to her.

Darwin entered the hall unexpectedly and witnessed the sexual kissing scene.

He stood there like a statue for a few seconds, unsure of what he should do.

When Olivia noticed him standing there, she smiled and kissed Adrik more passionately.

She wanted to send Darwin a message that Adrik was hers.

Darwin sighed at her, realising that her kissing Adrik was pointless to him. He wasn't gay, so why would he be jealous? Instead, he wanted to have a girlfriend.

He returned to the kitchen to eat his breakfast.

Adrik and Olivia were kissing when he pulled his lips away from her.

"Are you all right, dear? Are you okay?"

Olivia touched his forehead and face to see if he was sick, but his body was cold.

"Please do not approach me; I am unable to control it."

Adrik grinned, he didn't want to have a sexual relationship with Olivia. But his body was not under his control, and he was becoming more attracted to her. He was doomed; he desperately needed some sex.

"What's the deal with you being so frail today?" Olivia moved closer to him and delicately touched his chest.

Adrik stared at her, his eyes dizzy, and he was melting.

His inner monster craved her even more because it was the first time he had a sexual relationship with someone. He tried to avoid girls as much as possible because he didn't want to become addicted to them. But now that his body has a taste for women, he can't stop himself. His brain had stopped working the way he wanted it to, and he was now unable to control his actions.

Adrik was about to kiss her when Lucas burst through the door.

"Boss, it's an emergency."

Adrik regained consciousness and moved away from her.

"What exactly is it?" He questioned.

Lucas stared at Olivia, who was taken aback by Lucas' sudden appearance.

Adrik realises there must be something personal going on, which is why he is hesitant to say anything in front of Olivia.

"I've warned you not to come into my Mansion, so leave. Why don't you understand?" Adrik yelled angrily at her, clenching his fist because he didn't want to lose control.

"But..." she had not finished her sentence, but Adrik spoke in the middle.

"If you continue to disobey my warnings, I will consider you an enemy, and you are well aware of how I treat my enemies."

When Olivia heard Adrik's angry voice, she felt like lightning struck her.

Maybe he still doesn't like her, or maybe it's because Lucas showed up.

She cast a quick glance at Lucas, as if she was about to murder him.

"Can you please take your leave, your husband has returned from London," Austin said, smiling, but his smile was cold and emotionless.

Olivia decided to leave because she didn't wanted Alec to find out she was here with Adrik.

After Olivia has left the mansion, Lucas informed his boss about Smirnov family.

"Boss, the eldest son of the Smirnov family, has attacked our base."

"So, after his father's death, he is also willing to sacrifice his life for me, oh!! this is such a hilarious situation."

Adrik couldn't stop laughing.

"What are your plans?" Lucas asked in his cold voice.

Adrik's face became solemn as he stopped laughing.

"I'll go myself."

"Boss, but it's not our base." They've launched an attack on Alec's base. I mean, everything is now his, so you don't have to do anything."

'I want to fight."

His single sentence, which he spoke in a deep, cold voice, was enough to give anyone goosebumps.

"I'm sorry, Boss." Lucas apologised for his candour.

"Can you tell me where the laboratory instruments and equipment are?" Darwin entered the hall and confronted Lucas.

"It's outside; wait, I'll tell them to bring it in."

He went outside and returned with two men, each holding two large boxes.

"Where we place it?" The men asked.

"Put it here, I want to see if it's the right instruments or not."

The men place the boxes in front of Darwin, and he opens one of them to inspect the contents.

Darwin sighed in relief when he saw that everything was correct and well-organized.

"Is everything fine? I mean, are the equipments correct?" Adrik asked him becoming anixous.

He nodded his head in yes.

The men standing nearby cast a quick glance at Lucas, as if they were wondering what was wrong with our boss!

By his face expression, Lucas gave them the order to leave.

Because he was also confused, he has no idea what is going on with the boss.

Adrik stood up and grabbed Darwin's hand.

And they both went upstairs, while Lucas stood there like a dumb statue. His boss was now paying attention to a male?

This is a very awkward moment for him.

"Ahh!! I should stop thinking about it and start planning my attack."

Lucas begins contacting the men who work for his boss. And within minutes, two helicopters and 20 armoured BMW X5s arrived.

This was a very limited view of Adrik's power.

There in Adrik's room...

"What happened, and why are you dragging me along with you?"

"Well, I just wanted to offer you some important advice."

Adrik let go of his hand and walked towards his cupboard. On his way back to Darwin, he gave him one phone.

"Ok!! What exactly is the purpose of this phone?" He asked him as he examined the Android phone.

"Of course, phones are for calling, not selling. Hey, are you even listening to me?" Adrik questioned after observing him lost in thought.

"Ah! I'm sorry "Darwin returned his focus to Adrik.

"Hmm...ok. Now pay close attention because I'm going on an emergency business. So you'll be alone here, but don't worry, my men will be there to protect you. And, of course, no one dares to break into my mansion, but if Alec comes, make sure to hide the laboratory instruments or he will create a new logic about me." He informed him.

Darwin just nodded his head, worried about his life, but Adrik was telling him to hide the laboratory instruments!! The truth is so heartbreaking.

"Why are you making such a long face? Don't be concerned about yourself; simply gaze out of the window."

Darwin's gaze darted out the window, where he noticed two helicopters flying in and a line of 20 BMW X5s forming outside the mansion's entrance. Outside of these cars, men dressed in black and wielding armoured weapons stood.

Darwin returned his gaze to Adrik with a curved smile on his face.

"Woah! It's fun to watch such a scenario. Are they all your men, and are these cars and helicopters yours?"

Adrik sighed.

"These are mine, and these men will protect the mansion. So concentrate on your experiment, because I need the medicine tonight "His tone became solemn.

"And if you can't do it today, I'll shoot you," he said, choking his throat.

"Leave me alone, I'll do it today, but I need a sample of your blood."

Adrik took his hand away from him and took one of his injections from his drawer.

He injected it without hesitation and drew out his blood in the process.

Darwin was dumbfounded, terrified, and shivering on the inside. He couldn't believe Adrik was so callous and stiff. "how fearless !"

"Take this," he said, lifting his face to Darwin to give him his blood.

Adrik's eyes were gleaming green, he was clenching his teeth because of blood's sight.

Darwin quickly takes the injection containing his blood and hides behind him.

"I'm leaving now; please contact me if anything bad happens."

He quickly exited the room after saying this.
