"Take care, babe," Veronica said when she got out of the car.
Blake stared at her, "Babe?" he was confused.
"Yes, you kissed me, I kissed you back? It means we're now together, isn't it?" she smiled.
"Hmm, Veronica... about that...."
Veronica held his hands, "You don't know how much you made me happy, Blake. It was hard for me to hide my feelings for you that I even made myself busy. I thought I had no chance but here we are..." her voice was delighted and Blake was speechless and just smiled; a smile filled with artificial.
After taking Veronica home, Blake cursed himself for what he did, everything became more complicated for him. He parked the car in his garage and didn't know what to do next.
He was heading inside their home when he noticed Evangeline's window. The light was dim, only her lampshade was on. He sighed and he knew he hurt Evangeline.

Chapter 20It's been a week since everything happened. Pocco was slowly recovering, he was already fine to walk by himself. Chapter 22"Goodnight," Blake said once again before he left the room. Veronica smiled and closed the door. The moment the door shut, tears flow through her face. She could feel that Blake was just pretending he loved her. She could see how Blake looked at Evangeline, the way he stared at Evangeline than her was too different.
