Claire could see the man's beauty beneath the lamppost's illumination. His height was the first thing she noted. His broad shoulders were virtually level with his height. He was like five feet six inches tall. His blue eyes stood out with circular blue flames. He had solid brows and lengthy eyelashes covering them.
Additionally, Claire noticed his regal, sharp nose. His lips have a natural redness to them. If his lips were not crimson, Claire would have assumed he was a corpse due to his smooth, pale skin. He looks very manly with his mustache. He had the appearance of a tough but noble man. He resembled a living version of a Greek God.
The man just stared at her without talking. It appears that he is trying to hide something on his face.
Claire must be nervous, but she can still compose and remain calm. Maybe because she's a doctor, they can remain calm in the face of anxiety. However, the scenario was utterly absurd. Who or why he can move so quickly and jump so high? What sort of animal is he? Is this a byproduct of human research?
"What is the issue? Why won't you respond to me?" Claire insisted the stranger communicate.
He finally said, after a long pause, "Jacob."
"Huh?" Claire wondered.
"I'm Jacob," he repeated.
"I am not asking your name, you are unfamiliar to me. How do you know who I am? Why are you aware that I reside here?" Claire inquired bewildered.
He said, sounding irritated, "Had you asked me the precise question? Then, I would have answered you appropriately."
Claire's eyebrows were merely elevated.
"I frequently see your passing. And you come directly here," he said. "So, I guess you reside here," he added.
"Then? Who was the monster you earlier battled, and where is he now?"
"Ugh!" The man turned to face the night sky. "There is no point in responding to your inquiries. In any case, I will force you to forget everything."
The man quickly grabbed her by the waist and gave her a severe look. His look gave off an unsettling feeling to Claire. However, something extraordinary and cozy just wrapped up inside her senses. Having an outsider look at her seemed fantastic.
"You forgot everything that happened tonight. You got out of your totaled car and started walking. Then, you went inside your house and took a rest," Jacob stated quickly while maintaining a direct gaze on her.
"What's up, dude?" Claire appeared irritated. "Are you suggesting embarrassing me? I took a walk home, huh?" Claire's eyes grew more open. "I did not walk! I leaped over the trees and roofs of the houses we were passing because of you. Oh, my! I sound very ridiculous. What specifically am I referring to? It is absurd, isn't it?"Claire chuckled aloud. She is only now fully processing the bizarre happenings. And even the most intelligent person in the world would find it difficult to comprehend that circumstance. However, she tried to convince herself that what she saw and felt had a scientific basis; perhaps it had not been well investigated.
Claire is aware that Jacob poses no threat. But it was still preferable to be cautious than sorry. The law of life had been taught to her. It was weak to be afraid. She can be used as leverage by the male if she displays fear.
"What's going on? How come it didn't affect you?" Jacob appeared to take a step back in disbelief.
"What are you saying?" Claire's eyes suddenly widened as she had a thought. "Do you use drugs on me? Damn you! Who are you?" Claire attempted to grab him, but the man took another step back. And in an instant, he was gone from in front of her. She perused the area. It was pitch-black, and there was no rustling or other indication that anyone else was there.
"What the hell happened? Am I dreaming? " Claire swiftly opened the gate to her house and took the front door key under the stove, where she had previously placed it. She also swiftly secured the door to prevent anyone from simply walking in.

"How did that happens?" Jacob murmured to himself.
He had been living in the world for many decades and had never once felt panic, only now when he failed to delete Claire's memories.
Jacob also questions why he didn't hear what Claire was thinking. All human thoughts were audible to him, mainly if they were close by. But even though Claire was staring already at him, he couldn't still read her mind. Even funnier was that despite his best efforts, he could not get her to do anything. He is the most vital and most talented member of the Dark family, which includes astral vampires, or those vampires that feed on blood energy in mortals' dreams. He is capable of contributing to his family. Therefore the challenges the family faces are frequently overcome. He could hear what people were thinking, was always sure of everything, and had the power to influence mortals who came into contact with him or learned something about him.
"What do you have, woman, which you can fend off my powers?" Jacob asked himself again.
Jacob made sure the woman was secure before going back to his home. When it grows dark, every one of his brothers and sisters is placed in their separate location to protect their temporary food sources. The Ampulex is also known as the soul-sucking race because they never stop stealing other people's souls.
There was no way a human could escape from them; once they made eye contact with the victim, they would exploit. Once the soul sucker's mouth touches the mortal's lips, the human's soul can be absorbed. Kissing was a method to consume their lives—their soul. Soul suckers are made robust and vibrant by this. The Ampulex became more prominent and more powerful. And astral vampires won't stand by as the soul suckers exhaust their food supply.
Astral vampires share their strength. Thus they are not enemies of the people. True, they were the ones who kept them awake at night. But even then, they have no desire to harm anyone or destroy their food supply. Additionally, it is not their responsibility if the target of the blood energy they timed to extract is a coward.
Additionally, they occasionally target astral travelers to be safe. To eat, they ascend to the astral planes or the refuge for astral travelers. People who could travel in their dreams were known as astral travelers. The astral or souls of these people leave the physical body and travel to the astral plane or imaginative locations within their dream. Additionally, an astral society is responsible for maintaining the security of the astral planes so that no harmful elements can get in.
However, if a world is not balanced, it cannot be referred to as a world. And there must always be good and bad for the world to be in balance. A shadowy presence is always able to enter. And like them, astral vampires are one-of-a-kind evil monsters that can invade an astral traveler's haven. They are fortunate not to share in the astral visitors' blood energy absorption.
But after spending so much time indulging in a lot of human blood energy on the astral worlds, the Ampulex finally made it where Jacob's family liked to reside. The Ampulex are exhausting their food supply. They must also take care of individuals to avoid a shortage. The Dark family decided to live independently in several locations within their local neighborhood. It was done to ensure the security of their food supply.
Claire's face was familiar to Jacob in the town where he was monitoring. Claire typically arrives home at midnight and is frequently struck by a car. If Jacob hadn't witnessed that a soul sucker would assault Claire, he wouldn't have given a damn about her situation as a human, even though she was continually sobbing in the car.
In his opinion, he had the capacity to delete the unusual things that had occurred, but now, didn't believe it was dumb to do so. But what occurred astonished him. Now, what would he do? His memory cannot linger in a woman's mind.
"Ah! Later, I'll deal with the woman. I should eat first." Jacob said to himself. Along with other travelers, he ascension to the astral dimension for food. He was desperate for that. He expended a lot of energy fighting the soul sucker.
"Where's Kaitlin?"Milla don't want to ask that but it's necessary. She hadn't seen the woman since her family arrived there. She wants to know everything about the house they will live in temporarily."She's in her room. She's not feeling well," Renz answered."Is she sick?""No, she just feels bad."Milla immediately suspected something bad happened. If the woman isn't sick, if she wasn't wounded in a fight or bitten by a wolf and didn't come down to meet them, there must be something wrong."Doesn't she want us here?" Milla asked."Oh, no. She doesn't care about that. We are just having a few personal problems. You don't have to worry about her."Milla did not comment further. She no longer cares if their problems are personal. She continued to walk. Renz followed her. She waits for what he has to say as if it won't come and she drowns in the tension between them."Shall we talk about the plan?" Milla reminded."Oh, that. Yes, of course. I just suddenly remembered when I left you o
The helicopter still in the air, Milla already knew something bad had happened. A distant view of the smoke coming from the location of the estate. The underground town is under the mansion and the entire subdivision where it resides."Renz, w-what do you think is going on?" Milla asked. He didn't say a word and maneuvered the helicopter down. He immediately slung the bag containing the weapons over his shoulder and ran through the estate. Surrounding the subdivision, are the members of the Armată. Renz immediately asked one of them. They find out that Rollin blew up Rasulo three hours ago. Many were killed, the estate and the houses in the subdivision collapsed. For now, the situation is under control although the lives lost cannot be brought back.Milla's steps are fast to find her daughter. She immediately saw her, along with her grandmother. The girl was holding the Barbie doll and the music box that Renz had given her before."Are you all right, sweetie?"Ryana nodded."When we h
"You didn't have to come here, Renz!"Milla was irritated again when she saw Renz at the door. She was ready for a bloody fight when she felt the presence of their kind outside the cabin. Laura would never linger outside the house so she thought it was an enemy. Renz was the only one there."You might be late.""You've been walking around outside for a while.""I was checking security."Milla can't accept that Renz will join her on a mission but she can't do anything. She also couldn't give up her job. She will not be content in a quiet place if she knows that she is not doing anything to end the ongoing war. Maybe one day, she will wake up without her daughter. She can't forgive herself when it happens. When the bedroom door opened, she immediately turned to her daughter. She just held the walking doll while staring at Renz. "Go back to your room, Ryana."A few moments passed before she obeyed. She carried her bag. There were her weapons."You gave her such a masculine name. Why coul
‘My life was quiet, you came again and all my strategies were ruined again. I really hate you, Renz!’ Milla was restless. Renz is determined to tell the Consilium about her. She just agreed because she was given no other choice. Apart from that, she is also struggling to find out where she lives, if she is safe there because Rollin's men are said to be scattered all over Romania. Rollin wanted his homeland to be the center of his power. Rather than Renz finding out about their son, she preferred to agree with him, comforting him for the time being by agreeing to appear before the Consilium. But she will not allow him to come to her house. As soon as they entered Rasulo, nostalgia filled Milla's heart. It had been a long time since she last went there but it was still as beautiful as before."Do you remember our many dates here?" Ren asked her."Shut up!" she returned irritated."What's wrong with you?""I'm not happy when married men want to reminisce with me," she blurted out.Renz i
"Renz, this is a very important mission."Renz immediately nodded at what Sorin said. The mission was not sanctioned by the entire Council. Only the two Supremes Sorin and Stevan know."You are going there alone and once and for all, will find out if there is indeed a mercenary."Renz nodded again. Even if the two didn't say it, he knew they doubted Laura. Laura always carries information that is said to be from one of her trusted personnel. No one knows who that person of Laura is or if there is such a thing. Although all the information from that "mercenary" helped a lot, they didn't know if it was true. What if Laura herself, is just making up all those stories and her loyalty has also changed? Information can be helpful, but it might just be a pitfall in a larger plan.It seemed impossible but at this time they could not trust anyone. Their allies are turning their backs, loyal allies are doubting their ability. Rollin's time had come. What Renz witnessed that Rollin did in some o
"Are you all right?"Milla couldn't answer Ryan's question. They were already on the plane and she hadn't slept much. Her eyes were puffy and she was sweating coldly while suppressing body tremors. She knew that her bad feelings weren't just because she was angry. Something inside of her was crippling her. She would have thought that she also had typhoid fever from there but she was not in the last mission where they went to drink water from there."What are you feeling?"That's when Milla's stomach felt a terrible pain. Almost all the passengers looked at her, maybe because of the loudness of her shouting. They were immediately attended to by flight attendants.Milla screamed several times inside the plane. Unfortunately, they were going to Singapore and the trip was short. When the plane landed, an ambulance was waiting and she was taken to the nearest hospital. They tested her. She was hooked on dextrose. The pain does not go away and she is crying because of that."You're pregnant
