Chapter 6: Lies

Mariette P.O.V

Full lips ... three sets of lips committing each and every inch of my body to memory ... making it impossible for me to think clearly, making me feel things I never really knew were possible. How on earth could they even make me feel like this? "What's keeping that beautiful little mind of yours occupied, hmmm?" he asked, his voice husky and rough as he kissed my neck, blowing small breaths across my ear.

Their small actions they did. Every touch they made to my body, sent goosebumps all over. I couldn't understand how they were getting this right. They were making me feel things I have never felt before. I looked up into his icy blue eyes, getting lost in them, loosing all my sense of reality and rationality as the words started to struggle to leave my mouth. They made sure that I was completely rendered speechless, unable to even utter a word from my mouth.

Soon, the other one started to suck and nibble on an 'oh so sweet' spot on my neck, making me gasp for air as my back arched off the bed. Please ... please ... please ... I begged in my head. I had no idea exactly what I was begging for, but they were making me beg. "Mariette?" the third one said. I turned my head to look at him, only to see that he had a serious expression on his face. Why was he looking at me like that?

"Mariette!" I closed my eyes and snapped them open again, looking back at Mrs. Kristen. Fuck. I was screwed once again. I knew that my dad would likely receive another email, making me one step closer to being grounded. My father wasn't a dumb person. He would easily be able to piece one and one together to notice that my question from this morning wasn't simply just because I was wondering about the other supernaturals out there, there would be a reason behind him getting emails, for the past two days about my attention not being where it needed to be during class.

"Yes, Mrs. Kristen?" I said, nervously swallowing the lump in my throat. I knew she was likely going to let me have it big time. I was truly fucked six ways to Sunday. Just as she opened her mouth to let me have it, I heard the secretary speak over the loudspeaker. "Mariette, Mariette Dermusk, come to the office immediately" she said. I looked at the loudspeaker, not knowing exactly what I had managed to do that would have been so serious that I had to be called into the office.

I smiled at Mrs. Kristen who gave me a dirty look. I quickly just chucked all of my school books in my bag before standing up, greeting Mrs. Kristen with a sarcastic smile and walking out of there. I didn't know what was going on with me lately. I just knew that this wasn't like me. I was never like this, I was usually a goody two shoes and now I was behaving and acting out like this.

I walked up to the office assistant's desk, waiting for her to notice me standing there. After a few seconds, she placed the heap of papers she was busy with down right next to her and looked up at me. She always gave me the super creeps. She was the typical scary old lady who likely only got this job because there was no where else for her to go or something like that. "Can I help you?" she said in her old creepy voice. I nervously shuffled around on my feet before clearing my throat. "Uhm ... yes, well actually, I have been called to the office. My name is Mariette" I said, wanting to get away from here as soon as possible. It was clear to me that she had lit a cigarette in here only a few minutes ago.

"Oh, right. Yes, well there are three men here. They claim to be your cousins and that they are here to take you to the dentist" the assistant said, pointing out the window. There the three of them stood, laying against their SUV. I looked at them, not believing at all what I was seeing. Were they seriously going to take me out of school?! I looked back at the assistant who scuffled around in her drawer to get a paper before handing it over to me. "Just sign here and then you are free to go" she said before handing me a pen. I looked down at the piece of paper before looking back out of the window again. Well ... here goes nothing. I quickly sighed the paper before handing it back over to the assistant and headed out of the office.

I walked up to the triplets and crossed my arms before I came to a stop. "Seriously? I know the three of you are likely already finished with school and you have no care for it. But ... I am in my senior year and I would seriously like to not flunk it!" I said, rolling my eyes at them. "Now, clearly you arent here to take me to the dentist so what's up?" I asked them, not wanting to sound to impressed with them for actually managing to locate me. Aries just looked at Allec (well ... I hoped that it was Allec) as they exchanged a smirk.

"Well ... we were actually thinking if you would be game to go to the theme park. Then we can see what little rebel you could actually end up being" Aries said as he turned on his heel and got into the SUV. I stood there, completely speechless. A part of me wanted to get into that car with them and head on out, yet another part of me screamed for me to rather just head on back through that office and off to my last few classes.

I just shook my head at them before walking over to one of the back doors. Alex stood there and opened up the door for me. He smiled at me as he waited for me to get into the SUV. I quickly thanked him before hopping in. I fastened my seatbelt before looking up into the rearview mirror, only to see the reflection of Aries smirking. I rolled my eyes and turned my attention back to the outside. I didn't know if I was going to make a complete fool of myself. I didn't even know how safe it was for me to be doing this, but it looks like I was doing this anyway. I quickly scuffled around in my backpack to get my phone. I opened my contacts and quickly selected the message icon next to my mother's contact, and started typing.

Going to do an assignment at Abrie's house after school. Raincheck on the shopping?
