Chapter XXI
Karilaya had not been able to sleep that day, bothered and curious as to what exactly was those white warriors made of light. The beings were numerous and almost unstoppable, yet they instantly disappeared when dawn came, the magic was somewhat familiar but it was also unknown to her which just aroused her curiosity even more.
“My lady, are you sure you have everything you need?” That warm deep voice woke the princess from her deep thought.
Karilaya quickly turned to the man and was wide-eyed seeing him leaning down on her, having that curious look on his face, a bit amused with the lady being lost within the thralls of her mind.
“Uh, yes,” she quickly answers when she felt her blood rise up to her face in embarrassment.
