Days later.
"You're glowing of so much love that I hardly even recognize you as my brother. Damn!" Anita exclaimed with her hands on her hips.
Stanley blushed before connecting his glass of Ciroc to his lips.
"I think that's what happens when you have a woman like Lauren in your life." He answered proudly.
"Definitely! I'll remember to thank her for taking great care of you when I see her next. Anyways how's she doing?"
"She's great! She left work before me because she had some personal errands to run. I'll probably go to her place once I leave yours."

Stanley shrugged. "I guess that's what love does to you."
"Yes, I'm glad to see you this way. You're finally experiencing what our parents have and what Harry and I have. It's called 'true love.'"

Stanley and Lauren left very early the next day for Mesa city, Arizona and they got there in an hour.They made a stop at Lauren's home to drop their luggage before they made their way to the hospital. The plan was to buy some fruits and return back to the hospital but Abigail and Stanley ended up buying a big basket of fruit which had almost all the types of fruit in it. A week later.Lauren was almost going crazy because she was out of options and ideas of what to buy for Stanley. His birthday was in two days and she was still clueless about what to get him.Buying materialistic things doesn't seem too appealing to her because Stan already has all the things she thought of buying for him.He had told her not to buy anything for him because her love for him was enough to serve as his birthday gift. But Lauren wouldn't dare. 'Why won't she buy him a gift?', she will probably die of guilt if she doesn't get him anything.Even when it was not her birthday, he was always showering her with expensive gifts. Just as predicted, it turned out to be a very busy day at the office. Stanley had meetings with a number of clients, his business partners and his lawyer.The staff of Chatwin's Inc were also nice enough to surprise Stanley with cakes and gifts during lunchtime.Despite how busy Stan was, Lauren made sure he had his lunch. It was his day and the best thing that could happen was for him to break his two meals per day rule.It wasn't a rule that he intentionally made but due to stress and all other pressure around the company, Stanley hardly remembers to have lunch.The day went by pretty fast and soon enough it was time for him and Lauren to go home.Lauren walked into Stanley's office with both her handbag and laptop bag. Stanley stepped out of his walk-in closet into his bedroom, all dressed up for his birthday dinner and for a second, he forgot how to breathe as soon as he sighted the love of his life who was looking so gorgeous.She was putting on a designer dress that fits her perfectly well. Stanley watched the Queen of his heart as she slept peacefully. She cuddled up against him as if her life depended on it.He smiled and caressed her long messy hair.
