The door to my “prison” opens up and in walks Julian, the kitty cat shifter that has made it his mission for me to submit to him and become his mate. Coventina is still missing, and it’s been months…or at least that’s what it feels like. Time has become my enemy here because I don’t even know what day it is or how much time has passed since I was kidnapped.

“Hello, mate,” Julian says as he walks into the room.

A woman follows closely behind him with a tray in her hands, the smell of bacon and pancakes reaches my nose. I had to hold back a moan because it smelt so good. It’s not like they had been starving me but I could tell that something was off with the taste of the food, so I tried to hold out as long as I could when it came to eating.

“Are you going to eat this morning?” He asks as the woman places the tray on the bed.

I lift my lip in a snarl and a low hiss comes through my mouth.
