Chapter 2 MY OTHER HALF

I saw her take a deep breath as if calming herself. There are so many double faces who can't afford to act honestly but pretend they are good ones.

"I'm sorry, but you must obey the rules as long as you study here. If you're not willing, then feel free to drop out .." The sleeping dragon inside me seemed to wake up, and my ears warmed to what she said.

She's pulling the string now, testing my patience. She's making a mistake colliding. If it weren't just in my brain that I had to finish this year, I would have attacked this girl.

"And what are the rubbish rules ?!" I asked her irritatedly. My eyes were sharp, staring at her as if she couldn't stand them.

"When you're already inside the class, you can't come out to skip."

I giggled and looked at her again .. "Who the hell made those rules?! He's so smart and stupid .." I made clear my annoyance.

"That's me! ... Are you complaining? You're new here, so I will let this pass and exempt this day, but you still can't skip class." She insisted, preparing for her early funeral.

"Who told you I'm going to cut class? I just want to go to the bathroom. Or perhaps you want to come with me?" I saw her blush a little bit. Her cheeks reddened like a tomato.

"Oh.. sorry. Okay, then you may go.." Finally, this girl uses her brain, but I don't plan to return. On the 2nd subject, maybe. I'm still undecided on that, though.

For now, I will look around the campus. It's not my problem if the Professor is not here yet. I cannot stay here, waiting for the time to pass.

There should also be an advantage for us.. students like if the teacher was not around, we could hang out.

[JAZ AMANDA]

That girl .. she's trying my patience. If she's lying, I'll make her remember her first day in our school as a disaster.

Having no professor yet just happened today. She may think our school is not good and regret moving here. Even though. She would be responsible for her actions if she did not return.

I waited for her, but 10 minutes passed, but she was still not here, so I checked her in the bathroom. While walking, some other students from the window called out my name as I passed.

That's the cost of being so pretty and bright in front of everyone. I focused my sight straight to avoid them and went fast to the bathroom.

When I arrived, there was no other student. What the hell.. that girl lied to me. Where did she go?!

Thirty minutes passed, and I still couldn't see her, so I returned to the room.

"Ms. Amanda! Where have you been? When did you start skipping class?" My eyebrows met, and I didn't immediately answer. I saw that newbie in her chair, and she was barely smiling.

What the F?! I then looked wrong in the eyes of Ms. Gonzales.

"But Ma'am.." Before I could continue, this newbie suddenly talked.

"Ms. President went out to look around because our professor has not arrived yet, so she thinks that would be a great opportunity to spend a little time with her boyfriend." I boiled out at what I heard. What the hell is this girl talking about right now .. She's ruining my reputation.

"But ma'am.." I tried to defend myself, but they cut me off again before I could say anything that would make sense.

"No buts, Ms. Amanda.. I'm so disappointed with all my students. I did not expect it would be you. I'll see you in my office later. You may go on your seat now!"

My jaw clenched as this new girl ruined my mood. She's staring at me as I go through my place. I calmed myself forcibly not to cause more trouble, but this girl will regret this.

I will tell her where to put herself, who I am, and whom she must respect. I can't believe what just happened. Nobody dared to mess up with me until, to this moment that this girl popped out. Arrrggg!

"Oh. Ms. Amanda, I thought there was a rule?!" She whispers in my ear as she only sits on my back. I wouldn't like it. Really, not okay with it. She is dead to me next time. Today is her day, but next will be her nightmare.

[ANIKA HODGENS POV]

I didn't go to the bathroom and was smoking in the back of the school building. I was enticed when I saw two students doing the same thing, so no such perfect school exists. I was damn right.

When I came back, I saw a professor who seemed to be in a hurry, so I thought it was our teacher, so I preceded her, getting to the room so I was safe, right?

Five minutes have passed, and Jaz is still gone. I think she followed me to the bathroom because she didn't believe I would be there. I have already memorized the kinds of people like her. She wants to find someone else's stain for her to look good.

As I always say, this kind of person wants attention. They want themselves to appraise by others, which makes them popular, getting the sympathy, support, and everything they want from their surroundings.

Now Jaz gets what she deserves from meddling with me.

Perhaps she won't bother me again next time. Now she knows how untouchable I am.

"Okay, class, partners will do this activity, so cooperate with your other half. When you fail, the other will get the same thing, and vice versa, so teamwork will be critical. Better to avoid having issues with the other half of this project.

This activity will serve 70% of your grade, so you already know what I mean. You failed here, and then you fell my subject. Failing my subject won't let you walk through the stage on graduation day." Our Professor began with her preaching.

The first day of class was already crashing me. I hate doing activities, talking to others, and communicating forcibly, but picking her as my other half would be best. It will 99.9% ruin her.
