I packed my bags and made sure to bring some books and my laptop to keep me entertained during the trip. As we hit the road, I can't help but feel a bit sad about leaving Felix behind. But I was also looking forward to spending time with my family and taking a break from city life.

During the ride, my aunt and I caught up on things, and I updated her on how Felix and I are doing. She seems pleased to hear that we are still going strong. Isla was sleeping in the back seat, and I couldn't help but worry about her. But I know that being with my family would make her feel better.
