Chapter 13: Cemetery date

“You’re too concerned that you and Sera even admitted me! It’s just fatigue.” Fern laughed sardonically that we can’t even react happily.

“Of course we’re worried! We know how hard this day is for you knowing your Mom and your Dad…” Sera stopped and looked at me.

I just smiled and gave Fern a glance. “Your Mom will also be worried and sad seeing you like this here. Are your siblings okay at your house?”

He nodded. “I texted Fiat and Fluke that I’m going home to fetch them. They’re going to visit Mom and they agreed. They’ve been crying a lot ever since Mom acted suspiciously finding out she’s hurting already.. Everything that happened within this day makes me emotional. But then, that devil came…”

He might be referring to his Dad. “Did he tell you what’s his purpose for coming back?” I asked.

“He wants us to migrate to Singapore.”
