Reene stayed an extra hour at Anna’s place, their conversations mostly about Jaxon and Zayne.

As they filled their bellies with cookies, Anna never missed a chance to tease her.

She had to admit though, it was kind of fun.

“I guess it’s time to take my leave.” After one last cookie, she rose. “This has been a nice chat.”

Then she left.
