Chapter -2 :

Arvi Pov:

We reached the venue, greeted everyone, Elders are engaged in conversation.

I went to Priya's room, my friends are already there in the room.

"How is the soon to be bride doing?" I asked I wrapped my arms around priya's neck and hugged from behind.

"Dreaming about her future husband" Kushi said.

"Aww! that's why she is blushing and she don't need any artificial blush" I said pulling Priya cheeks.

"Arvi you too started teasing me" she asked swatting my hands which were pulling here cheeks.

"What are friends for and besides I have all the rights to tease u" I said as a matter of fact.

"I won't forget this and when your time comes I will tease u more than this" she said threatening me.

"I am not getting married any time soon" I said stuck my tongue out at her.

"We will see it" she said smirking at me.

"You just shut up ok" I said glaring at her.

"Cat catch your tounge" she asked winking at me .

"Oh hello, it's your haldhi function not mine. So, concentrate on your marriage rather than on my imaginary marriage" I said to escape from her teasing.

"What makes you to sleep at night" she mocked me.

Later the haldhi function started, the party is on full swing. All the elders applied haldi on priya and now it's our turn.  It's time for fun. We took haldi in our hands and we all surrounded priya in a circle.

"Kushi and arvi don't apply too much haldi on me it will take more time to remove haldi" priya said whining like a small kid. Kushi and me gave an evil smirk to priya. We all drenched her in haldi.  She is looking like she just took bath with haldi.

"I won't leave you guys"priya said taking haldi in her hands and ran behind us. we all started having haldhi fight.

I am running away from my friends, that's when I collided with a wall before I could fall, a strong pair of arms caught me.

"Arvi! Have you lost your mind it's not a wall you collided with a man " my concise scolded me. Let me tell you guys I don't need any enemies from outside cause my concise is my biggest enemy.

I slowly opened my eyes to be met with a pair of black orbs, accidentally the haldhi in my hands is applied on his cheek. His tall frame hovered over me. He was holding me tight by my waist preventing me from kissing the ground. My heart was thumping fast. For the first time in my life I felt some kind of electricity passed through my body which made me shiver. We both are looking at each other without blinking our eyes and everything else is faded.

Someone cleared their throats that's none other than my friends. I came to my senses and out of his hands. How can you look at some stranger like that? I cursed my self.

"Are you ok?" he asked me with concern lacing in his words.

"Yeah I'm fine and I'm sorry" I said and went away from him.

I went towards my friends, they all started wriggling their eyebrows.

"Shut up guys" I said and they all started laughing like manics.

After the embarrassing stunt I pulled earlier, my friends started teasing me and they even named him as Mr.Handsome.

"Seriously guys you all are calling him as Mr.Handsome" I asked.

"Of course he is" they all said. They have started with their routine drama. Everytime they will see a handsome man and start with praise him, gossip about him.

"Have you all lost your mind somewhere" I asked. How can they talk about some stranger like that?

"Oh come on Arvi admit that he is looking handsome" they all said.

"Whatever I'm going to freshen up" I said and walked away from them.

After freshen up, I went downstairs and saw my family talking with other family. So, I went towards them.

"She is my daughter" Papa introduced me to them and he introduced all of them to me.

I greeted them all and they all greeted me.

They all seems to be like nice people.

I came to know that they are the Malhotra's family and I heard a lot about them because they have so many businesses across the globe.

There is this little boy Ishaan and I liked him a lot. Who doesn't like small kids and I love playing with them.

I and adya watch cartoons together and play games a lot. Hey don't judge me okay, that's how I'm and I love playing games and watching cartoons.

After reaching home, I directly went to my room.

"Arvi come to the dining room" said Mishti bhabhi. We both went downstairs.

It is the tradition in my family that we have to eat dinner together. We had our dinner with lots of funny jokes and the room filled with our laughter.

After having dinner I and adya played Mario game for some time. Adya slept while watching TV and bhabhi took her to their room.

"sleep princess we have to attend Priya's wedding tomorrow" papa said kissing my forehead.

"OK papa. Gud nit" I said hugging him and kissed his cheek.

After wishing everyone good night and kissing everyone's cheek.

I went to my room and slept.

Karthik pov:

We reached the venue, my family went inside.

After parking the car I started walking inside but suddenly something soft ran into me. Oh! It's a girl bumped into me before she could fall I caught her in my arms.

Slowly, she opened her eyes. She has such a beautiful blue eyes and I'm unable to break my gaze away from her eyes but it's like my way have their own mind. Her eyes were so beautiful I thought. I was so lost in looking at her until clearing of throats brought me back to the reality.

"Are you ok?" I asked her with concern.

"I'm fine and I'm sorry" she said and went away.

Why am I feeling like this. I ignored the tingling sensation in my heart, went inside. Spotted my family, I went towards them they are talking with other family.

"He is my younger son" my mom introduced me to them.

"He is Mr.Vikrant Singh and his family" mom introduced all of them.

I greeted them all. They all greeted me. Ishann is playing with Adya.

"Champ so you a got a new friend" I asked Ishaan.

"Yep chacha and her name is Adya" he said.

"Hi Adya" I said.

"Hi" she said shyly.

"You both want chocolate?" I asked.

"Yes" they both said in unison.

"Here take it" I said giving them chocolates.

"Thank you" they said hugging me and I laughed at their antics.

Mr.vinkrant singh asked me about my business and career plans. I answered each and every question.

Our parents were busy talking with each other so I excused myself. I went towards lakhs room.

"Hey Laksh" I greeted him.

"Hi karthik" he said and he is seeing like I have groan two heads.

"Why are u seeing me like that brow" I asked raising my eye brow at him.

"Karthik my haldhi function is not stated yet and who applied haldhi on your cheek" he asked.

Wait haldhi on my cheek.

I went towards the mirror and I have haldhi on my cheek.

Where did I get this from I thought, soon the realization hit me that it is applied accidentally when the girl bumped into me.

"What are you thinking about karthik" laksh asked bringing me out of my thoughts.

"Nothing brow, haldhi is applied accidentally" I said.

Luckily he didn't ask anything about it .we engaged in some conversation.

We enjoyed a lot in his haldhi function.

We reached home, after freshen up I came downstairs and we all had dinner together.

After having dinner we all sat in the living room.

Ishaan telling everyone that how he enjoyed today. He is also made new friends Adya and Arvi.

Adya is Mr.singh's grandchild and Arvi is his daughter. I haven't met his daughter and Ishaan liked her that's why he is talking about her.

After wishing everyone good night, kissing my mom's forehead I entered my room and slept.

Next day:

Arvi pov:

Today Priya is getting married.

When I and kushi entered her room, she was already dressed up in a bridal attire.

She is looking gorgeous.

"Wow you are the most beautiful bride" I and kushi said at the same time.

"Thank you" she said blushing.

Aunty entered her room (Priya's mom).

"My daughter is looking beautiful" aunty said with tears in her eyes.

Priya also started crying by hugging aunty.

"Don't cry beta or else you will ruin your makeup" aunty said.

"We don't want to scare our jiju now are we" I and kushi said to lighten up the mood.

They both laughed and aunty wiped her tears.

"Get ready they are already on the way" aunty said and went out.

The baarat has arrived. We went downstairs and Priya's parents welcomed all of them.

When time is coming near Priya started panicking.

"I'm hell nervous guys" she said.

"Don't worry everything will be fine" I said.

"Jiju will be flattered by seeing you like this" kushi said smirking and priya smiled shyly.

I'm so happy for her. Please god always keep her happy.

Later Priya we took priya to the mandap.

Soon the wedding completed. Now she is Priya Malhotra. I'm so happy for her.

I and kushi hid jiju's shoes in priya's room. When it's time to take elder's blessings Laksh jiju identified that his shoes were missing.

We both smirked at him.

"What my both sister in laws want" he asked.

"We need a promise from u" we asked.

"Go ahead" he said.

"No matter what always keep her happy"

"I promise" he said.

We gave him his shoes.

Soon it's time for bidai. She hugged all of us, she started to her new home.

Karthik pov:

We started from our home to bride home with a bharat. I am dancing along with all of my friends all the way.

We all are welcomed by Priya's family.

Photography is one of my hobby. So, I am also clicking pictures of the wedding. It's time for the bride entry. Soon the bride entered along with her friends. One of her friend is the same girl from yesterday I bumped into and she is looking pretty. I don't know why I clicked some of her pictures also.

Soon the wedding completed.

Priya friends hide Laksh's shoes somewhere. When he asked what they want, I thought they will ask for money, but they surprised all of us by asking him to always keep Priya happy.

They love their friend to that extent and here I'm impressed with their friendship.

We soon reached the home as all the rituals are completed.
