CHAPTER TWELVE: WOLVES AND WITCHES
CYNTHIA
There was an event coming up at school. Cynthia was chosen to play the part of the evil witch of an enchanted themed play that Dylan was forced to write. Since he failed to bring Cynthia to Jon's party, Jon practically punished him by announcing to the whole campus his nerdy nature. Jon informed the Theatre club of his personal endeavors as an aspiring writer. As soon as Monday came, he was scouted by the President of the Theatre club to co-write the play. Cynthia had formerly declined to join the theatre club, but after hearing of him writing the play, she was ecstatic to play even the role of a tree.
Opal, who had reconciled with Cynthia, having noticed the absence of her Radiance, was busy helping him assemble the trees as the stage's backdrop.

Trevino called fort for the Eye, Resmeia, as soon as he arrived back at his Fiefdom. He waited patiently for her in his throne room, answering his consort's inquiries about the summit in a passive tone. Resmeia strode inside the throne room, but he sent her flying across the place as soon as she had gone near enough. She landed in a dull thud on the marbled floor. Cynthia wanted to scream, cry and thrash in place. Yes, she could hear their conversation, but she was too preoccupied to join in. Working on Zach's brain didn't only mean that she had to control the frantic nerves yearning for an end. It meant browsing through his memories as well. She felt like she was intruding in something incredibly private, but she could not endure. Zach's life is a living nightmare. She watched his earliest memories that she doubts even he, himself, still remembers. His mom treated her like trash and had refused to nurse him. She watched his parents fight in his memories when he was nothing but a babe. When he was two, his father killed his mom by drowning her in the tub.
