CYNTHIA
There was an event coming up at school. Cynthia was chosen to play the part of the evil witch of an enchanted themed play that Dylan was forced to write. Since he failed to bring Cynthia to Jon's party, Jon practically punished him by announcing to the whole campus his nerdy nature. Jon informed the Theatre club of his personal endeavors as an aspiring writer. As soon as Monday came, he was scouted by the President of the Theatre club to co-write the play. Cynthia had formerly declined to join the theatre club, but after hearing of him writing the play, she was ecstatic to play even the role of a tree.
Opal, who had reconciled with Cynthia, having noticed the absence of her Radiance, was busy helping him assemble the trees as the stage's backdrop.
I'm not sure what I'm trying to achieve posting this story here. Will anyone be reading this? Perhaps yes, but maybe no. Anyway, have a great day. I mean it. PS. It's my birthday today, and I'm eyeing that 50% off all-access annual subscription at codewithmosh worth 124 dollars. PPS. I'm broke, so better luck next year for me, aye?
ZACH Zach was feeling excited. They're going to watch Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone at Selena's house. Selena told him that she had mentioned his visit later that morning to her grandmother and mother. Her gran, after a bit of persuasion, approved. But as soon as she got home, Selena's sister welcomed them with a panic-stricken face. She threw her backpack on the sofa and steadied her. Zach entered the house without being invited. Lyka held unto her as the world depends on it. "It's Ruben! He… He got into a fight, and Gran and Mom…" she burst into tears. "Mom tried to be a mediator, and she was hit by a bat on the head... She passed out. Gran brought her to the hospital. R
DYLANDylan looked down at the Trevian Prince, who was having a face-off with a woman Earthling. She's particularly eye-catching for an Earthling, if Periuz shall admit. And the Radiant Earthling they came there for was now sprawled on the loamy soil. Looking as every bit a Welkin as an Earthling can. "What is the Prince doing?" Prowlaz asked, annoyed. "What's with the delay?" "I'd dare say he's in love," Morton said, chuckling. "Look at him. He's smitten." "Well, I don't think he's fallen, love. I think he's merely surprised," Perez said. &nb
KING ODENCLIFFE He looked at himself in the mirror with satisfaction. His white complexion rendered him the most attractive King in the history of Welkin. His brothers envied this part of him so much that they used to bully him all the time when they were younger. One of his concubines, whose name he had long forgotten, handed him his most favored weapon, the rapier. She murmured a couple of praises that he subtly ignored. Odincliffe is the King known for his fondness for beauty. He likes collecting things that are appealing to his eyes. Unlike his brother Trevino, who's a collector of everything unique, or his brother Altaire, a fanatic of destruction,
Trevino called fort for the Eye, Resmeia, as soon as he arrived back at his Fiefdom. He waited patiently for her in his throne room, answering his consort's inquiries about the summit in a passive tone. Resmeia strode inside the throne room, but he sent her flying across the place as soon as she had gone near enough. She landed in a dull thud on the marbled floor. "How dare you let yourself get spied on?!" his wrath sent a ripple of raw power throughout the room. "You careless fool!" She rose from the floor, clutching her throbbing chest. She heard a husky chuckle, and she didn't have to look that it came from the King's consort. What valid reason can she offer? She thought of none and settled on silence. &nbs
Selena and Zach arrived at the docks and quickly noticed the crowd milling around the place. Instead of kids the same age as her brother, they found grownup men holding makeshift weapons from bats to pipes. The abandoned storehouse near it is obviously where her brother's being kept. Their bloodshot eyes spelled substance abuse, and they didn't have to guess what substances they favored. Selena realized that Titan was obviously not the leader. She started making a mental map of their daring infiltration using her not yet perfected invisibility. Still, when she had finally come up with a safe route, Zach was gone. "Zach?" she looked around, but he was nowhere. She looked at the
Julia's enhanced eyesight made it possible to see what was currently happening on the beach, kilometers away from the yacht she was now on. She had enhanced her senses three days ago, and the signals she was receiving came from people like her. The first pulse sent searing warmth on her chest when the yacht was rocked by a huge wave. She can only explain it as a collision of radiances. There was another outburst, but instead of crash, there was repulsion. How it was made possible, she wanted to know. She started to pace in her location. She has to get there fast. Karmic, her bodyguard slash jailer, watched her, eyes sparkling in anticipation. His eyes were visibly saying, 'Here comes the excitement.' &n
Keron and his company followed the escaping Radiant Spirit to steal it back once it sunk to its new host. Keron exhibited a flying prowess he'd never shown before, and Morton was starting to feel annoyed by it. "The Prince is obviously ecstatic," he said and snorted. Keron scoffed. "You're just jealous. And you're still a bit sour on Bellera's death." "I am not!" Morton hissed. "Everyone at the academy knew you fancied her," Keron told him. "Right, Prowlaz?" "She never liked you, you know," Prowlaz told him
Cynthia wanted to scream, cry and thrash in place. Yes, she could hear their conversation, but she was too preoccupied to join in. Working on Zach's brain didn't only mean that she had to control the frantic nerves yearning for an end. It meant browsing through his memories as well. She felt like she was intruding in something incredibly private, but she could not endure. Zach's life is a living nightmare. She watched his earliest memories that she doubts even he, himself, still remembers. His mom treated her like trash and had refused to nurse him. She watched his parents fight in his memories when he was nothing but a babe. When he was two, his father killed his mom by drowning her in the tub. When he was three, his father watched him try to walk and eat by himself. H
