CHAPTER 118

Genevieve's pov.

As our blood dripped down onto the jewel, I noticed a strange mist begin to rise from it. It was foggy and kept rising until it was as tall as a human being. The mist then wrapped itself around Taloria who was cackling loudly, spreading out her arms to receive the mist.

“Yes! Yes! Finally!” She cackled in satisfaction.

“At long last!!”

I looked over at Thorn and he wasn't moving either. We were both trapped in Taloria's spell and all we could do was watch our blood drip down on the jewel without being able to do anything about it.

“Yes!!” She screamed as the most continued to rise, even above her. The mist had a stench that filled my nostrils, turning my stomach. It smelled like death and I really couldn't stand it.
