"Then stay," Elliot added.

Layla chuckled and walked over to Elliot. "Dad, are you going to get Robert to work for you during the holidays? You can just hand him over to your vice president, so you won't have to worry."

"I'm worried that the vice president would go soft on him. I never asked Robert to intern at my company. He was the one who brought it up."

Layla immediately turned to look at Robert in awe, not expecting him to become such a responsible man.

"Why are you staring at me, Layla? You were the one who said that you want me to help Dad with work, right?" Robert felt chills down his spine when he saw the way Layla was looking at him.
