Range erupted within my body and I hardly controlled myself. I stepped into the storage room and I saw nothing.
The storage room was empty. Mia wasn’t there.
I closed the door and I felt my blood boil; I closed my eyes and clenched my fists hard.
“Natalia played me” I took large strides back to the cafeteria. I was going to kill her this time. What the hell did she do? If Mia was hurt, I will definitely make her pay for it.
As I stepped into the hall, I saw Mia sitting at our table silently waiting for me. Just seeing her calmed me down instantly. I searched for Natalia with my eyes and saw her eating with her head down on the plate.

☆☆Kevin POV☆☆ I left Mia’s house in denial, I didn’t want to believe that we actually fought together for the first time since we became friends. I walked around aimlessly thinking about our last conversation. Her words shattered me completely, it hurt so bad that I couldn’t breathe right. It feels like I got stabbed right into my heart and its bleeding sorrow. The worst part was that she didn’t know anything nor she believed me. Finally I dragged myself back home. I didn’t want to talk to anyone, so I just headed upstairs. As soon as I entered my room, I dropped myself on the bed and stared at the ceiling. Sadness poured inside my soul.

☆☆Kevin POV☆☆ My dreams were filled with this memory repeating over and over all night. I woke up only when my alarm sounded at 6 in the morning. I got up gloomy and depressed. ☆☆Mia POV☆☆“Mia,” the teacher shouted out loud and all heads turned to me as she headed towards me.She hovered over my head and looked at my exam paper and then at me. ☆☆Mia POV☆☆I dropped my body on the nearest chair outside the operating room waiting for any doctor or a nurse to come out and tell us what was going on, but no one came.Kevin’s parents sat down on the bench opposite to me. Kevin’s mom was sobbing soundly, while his father sat next to her hugging her shoulders and consoling her, and trying as much as possible to stay strong himself.I looked at the clock on the wall and I felt the tic-toc was beating in my chest. My heart was trembling rapidly, I felt cold inside and my body was shivering uncontrollably.Every passing minute felt like a year in waiting.I impatiently took a breath in to calm myself and looked down at my hands. Ch.19 COMA ☆☆Mia POV☆☆ As soon as we heard the nurse’s words, we all came out, running of the waiting room and headed to the ICU where Kevin was kept. The doctor was already there; he was holding some files and charts while talking to one of the nurses assigned to the care. “Make sure to check his vitals hourly and report back to me” the doctor ordered the nurse as she nodded her head and then he turned his head to us. “Mr Jackson, Kevin’s vital readings are not good. His blood pressure and heart rate keep going up and down vigorously. We are trying our best to stabilize the situation.
