I groaned in pain as I opened my eyes and a bright light blinded me. I looked up at the ceiling for a while but I couldn’t see anything. I blinked a couple of times to adjust but my vision was completely blurred. I actually expected to wake up in a dark and stinky place.
I stretched my hands and felt a soft bed beneath me and a comfy cover draped over me. I was surprised to find my hands and legs free. I moved my hand up to remove the cover and sit up, as I struggled to control my movements. My whole body felt heavy and weak.
