Reminiscence continued

I tried to get a clear vision of the person walking a little bit forward but someone patted my shoulder and I instantly turned around.

"James..." I hugged him tight and burst out in tears.

"Hey...calm down...what happened?" he tried to break free from my arms but I hugged him even tight.

"James I thought it was you" I whispered.

The one sight of the accident made me forget that I was angry with him. I really had no idea that I was this deep in love with him. For a second my heart was about to stop beating. But seeing James fine it gave me relief.

"Here..." James handed me a glass of water. We were back to my apartment. I took the water from his hands and drank it.

"Ella" he sat beside me and wrapped his arms around my shoulder. I rested my head on his shoulder.

"I am extremely sorry.. couldn't make it up for our date. I was just busy with my works" he confessed.
