Chapter Forty-five

" But what do I do?" She gapes at me with an expression of a million in one question.

" I don't know just do something lively!"

" Like what?" She queries.

" Uh- uh! Why don't you begin with a nice refreshing bath and after that you can put on some nice outfits and make us some breakfast... Wait it's past ten already, so maybe we can go out for brunch?" I teased her. 

" Are you for real right now?" 

" Yeah, I am, or are you going to start anew on an empty stomach?" 

" Hmmm, I guess you are right, she gets out of bed feeling a bit relieved as she continues out to her room.

Once she left, my smile slowly withers away, as I stand face to face with my reality and unanswered questions.

Talking to Sam helped me not wallow in pity for myself, once again I am stumped on by fate, it seems like often I stretch out my hand, I'd wonder if it was from my grasp but as soon as I grab and squeeze, I lose my grip like the flying trapeze, into the dark I plummet
