Chapter Twenty-Nine

  " phew! It's been such a stressful day! I surge into bed and drown myself in the softness of it. I wonder how Greg is doing?" A cinch of melancholy gusts through my body.

My eyes become heavy while I stared at the awning, slowly but steady my eyelids could no longer hold the inevitable call of nature, as I dozed off, eventually.

The next day, I wake up in the morning to the loud noise coming from outside of my window and I jump out of bed as I proceed into the bathroom to ease myself and wash my face, while doing that I took a little time looking at the mirror and resumes my thinking from where I stopped last night, glancing at the mirror, gazing into the eyes of my reflection in the mirror. My thoughts go feral, as I couldn't get myself to focus, still hunted by my tragic past.
