Chapter 27

Her footsteps came closer and closer, I swallowed hard. Why didn’t I just tell Isabella about what happened between me and Leah, even if nothing happened I still kissed her and I still saw her naked. Leah removed her hand from around my waist and frowned as Marisa came into clearer vision, I let of a breath of relief as Marisa eyed us both with suspicion.

“I.. thought you weren’t coming until tomorrow?” I asked, avoiding her eyes at all cost.

“I got an earlier flight out, so I took it.” She replied.

“Leah, it’s nice to see you again.” A faint smile curbed on Leah’s lips.

I took Marisa’s bag and escorted her to the guest room on the second floor of the pack house. Leah followed along, once Marisa settled I asked Leah to follow me down to the last floor.

“Leah, mated to Isabella and not you, I know you think what we had was something but it wasn’t anything. I didn’t mean to use you or hurt you. I am sorry.”
