After I said what the next plan was, Jacob turned and looked me still smiling

"nothing, we strike a deal with the next company" he said looking so unbothered packing his files

"why are you looking so chill and unbothered like we didn't lose a deal" I said finding it difficult to understand his whole composure while I was losing my mind

"oh, shit, I just remembered. this is your first business deal meeting right?" he asked

"yeah, so?" I said, not seeing what relevance that question had in the discussion at hand

"Well, welcome to the world of business, Hazel," Jacob chuckled, his tone light despite the gravity of their situation. "You'll come to learn that setbacks are just part of the game.
