What have I done? I killed my sister. Regardless of whether it wasn’t by my hands, it was still my fault. Because of my father, I was so eager to believe his lies, thinking I was protecting our kingdom. He tricked, lied, and manipulated me for twenty-five years.

Perhaps I made it easy for him. I believed anything and everything he told me without question. Like when he said my mother died in childbirth. Or when he told me Sierra was his late brother’s bastard child, conceived by a common whore.

Well... I could firmly say no more. My father’s days of manipulating me into doing his biddings were over. However, he would have to answer for his crimes.
