14. SUNDAY MASS

Ben woke up to the brightness of the sun, it hardly rained there and that was a major problem in the northern region of the country. The lands were arid and she wondered how their crops were able to germinate without enough rainfall to sustain it.

It was Sunday already, a Sabbath day to keep holy. She jolted out of bed and quickly rushed into the bathroom, she took a quick bath and brushed her teeth. She ran back to the room after she was done, she took a quick glance at the wall clock and realized she was already late for mass.

One thing she loathed so much was going late to church and she couldn't just stay back at home on Sundays. She did the needful and stepped out of her house, she board a cab and soon the cab arrived in front of the magnificent building, the car halted and she stepped out after paying the cabman. She walked into church and joined the other members that came late.
