20. TOBA'S VISIT
"Ben." He called her name over the phone, even without checking the screen, she knew the voice. She could easily recognize the baritone voice that was meant for one person.
"Babe!" She squealed.
"I'm at your gate, come open the gate." He said.
"Sure." She ran towards the gate and opened without giving it a second thought, she sighted his car and giggled gaily.
'When did they become that close?' She smiled again, he was already an important part of her life and she was really glad their paths ever crossed.
"He yo!" She waddled towards the car waving happily at him. "I never knew you could make it here all by self." She said.
"I'm not a dumb ass, I've been here before." He opened the door and came out of the car, she moved back to pave for way for him to stand. "Good afternoon by the way." He gave the bags he brought along to her.

The day everyone anticipated and spoke about was finally here, the large hall that was used for important gatherings was the venue of the end of the year dinner.
