Sitting on the pavement and catching up on the lost moments in their lives was something Ben didn't plan to do anything soon but it was unavoidable in a situation like this.
She had to give him time cos of old time's sake.
"How have you been after all these years?" He asked with a bright smile on his face.
"Very well and you?" She retorted.
"Been coping, were you posted here for NYSC?" He asked.
"Yes, I was." She replied him.
"And how has it been so far?" He asked again, Ben was getting bored already. The incessant questions he was asking was getting on her nerves.
Can he just find something reasonable to talk about?
"Been beautiful." She answered.
"Just like you." He smiled.

Traveling from Ekiti state down to Kano wasn't a friendly journey at all. It was tiring, butt-hurting and energy-consuming.Esther almost knelt down to give thanks when the bus finally arrived at bus stop in Kano. Having Esther around in the house made everything easier for Ben, she no longer have to wake up so early to prepare breakfast before going to work in the morning.
