Vivi stared blankly at her phone screen. Darren had come to dinner, and they had signed a three-year marriage contract. And less than half an hour after Darren had left her apartment, the fantastic amount of money he'd given her as a downpayment for signing the contract had been deposited into Vivi's account.
The amount was amazing. The down payment alone was almost equal to what Vivi had received from Lucas after the divorce, so Vivi dared not imagine how much Darren would give her after this contract ended if the down payment alone could be that much.
And what worried Vivi was that all of this seemed so easy and unreasonable that she felt she had made a rash decision by accepting Darren's offer.
