Chapter 5

The next day, I dragged myself to the bathroom and quickly got ready. I wear no make up to school today, taking my favorite cap, I wore a black t-shirt with my black adidas sweatpants.

After getting dressed, I took my bag and got on Dad's car waiting outside. While on the way to school I fall asleep until my father woke me up. "Nak, dito na tayo!" He announced and I opened my eyes and got out of the car.

Walking towards the school building I saw a luxury car stop in front of it. I walked in and made my way heading to my classroom when someone held my wrist and I turned to see Aaron again. My eyes widened as I didn't expect him to hold my wrist. I raised my eyebrows and glared at him waiting to say something.

"Where's your bestfriend Astrid?" Is she okay? He asked in a low tone and I took my wrist away from his grip.

"Haven't seen her yet."

"Let's talk at the cafeteria for a moment." He demanded and walked away, I turned and found myself following one of the most popular guys at school. He is the school campus heartthrob and was into the baseball team. He led me at the cafeteria behind the school building.

"What do you want?" I asked as I crossed my arms in front of my chest.

"Tutor me." I looked up at him.

"Tutor you? You're one of the top student why do you need a tutor?" I asked and he just scratched the back of his head.

"Tutor me Hannah, why do you ask so many question?" He said a little bit annoyed.

"No!" I said and turned my body but he held my arm, I quickly pushed his hand away.

"I never take no for an answer Hannah, tutor me after school,” he ordered me.

"Sorry, I don't want to tutor you, go find someone else because I know everyone is dying to tutor you right now Aaron,” I said coldly, completely annoyed on how he treated me. I walked out and left in a hurry. Running back to the school building I passed through the sea of people. My mood just dropped because of him, what a jerk! How did Astrid have a crush on him for so many years, he's so arrogant.

The next day, I was reading my favorite book under the tree near the baseball field. Someone threw a piece of hamburger on me causing my book to get ruined. I looked up and found Aaron again smirking while holding a big cup of coffee. “Opps sorry, I didn't mean to.”

"Aaronnnnn! I hissed... How dare you!” I looked at my book and it's completely ruined now, I turned to him and glared. Pulling my favorite cap up to cover my hair, I quickly took my bag and walked away because it's no use to get angry with him.

"Oh wag ka sisimangot, papangit ka niyan!" he teased as he walked beside me.

"Leave me alone! Ask Astrid to tutor you, she's ranked good in everything too," I stopped and turned to him.

"I only want you-- Hannah."

"Why do you need a tutor so badly?"

"I just want to get a good score for it because I'm failing in that class badly."

"What subject?"

"English"

"I'm busy."

"I want you to tutor me" gigil na sabi nito.

"No.. Ayoko. Sa lahat ng humihingi ng favor ikaw pa itong galit, ewan ko sayo!”

"Too bad I never take no for an answer, so I will keep bothering you until you say yes Hannah," he said and I sighed big time, this guy is crazy and out of his mind.

"I can't, I'm never available after school, busy kami sa practice," I said loudly.

Aaron smirked and Im so used to it. "Don't lie, it's not good."

"Hanap ka nalang ng iba, Aaron! Ang kulit mo din noh?" I looked at him in disbelief. Knowing he won't stop bothering me until he gets what he wants. "Sorry, I don't have time, I'm busy practicing for the incoming sportsfest just so you know!” I said and left immediately.

Walking back to the classroom Astrid saw me. "Oy bff, why are your clothes dirty?"

"Someone pissed me off!” I replied and sat beside her and took out the books. Muntik ko na makalimutan na crush nga pala niya si Aaron kaya di pdeng masira ang image ng gonggong na iyon sa bestfriend ko kaya nanahimik nalang ako.

The bell rings, it means the class will start now. I sighed and opened my phone to check my schedule for this week. I smiled widely seeing the schedule and slowly looked up to see Astrid raising her eyebrows giving me a you—know—what—this—means look.

"Time for weekend get awaaayyy!" she murmured. I don't have any other choice than to agree to that.

“8 o'clock in the morning tomorrow in front of your house," she said, then got up from the chair facing me. ”Ready for tomorrow?” she asked.

"Yeah." I smiled back at her and gave a thumbs up. I looked at the weather outside and it was beautiful and nice. All of a sudden my phone rang again, as always kung kelan may kausap ako saka biglang tutunog.

The name Nathan appered on the phone screen. Yes it was him, we have been friends for a long time because we're neighbors but he is one year older than us.

"Hey, let's hangout tell Astrid too," he said in a happy tone.

"When? I have something to do tomorrow."

"How about next weekend?"

"We have a Girls day out,” I replied and at the same time the teacher entered in our classroom.

"Okay."

"Who is that?" Astrid asked.

"Nathan." I answered and gestured her to keep her voice down because the professor had just came in.

“Nathan, I need to drop this call. Bye!” I said and ended the call before he got to say anything.

"You know--. you make me curious." Astrid raised her eyebrows as she looked into my eyes. "Why do you look so nervous now?" She asked again.

"Sssh! Quiet, I'll tell you later.”

I sat properly as the professor opened her book and that only means the class is about to start.
