Rain

"Ahaha", a sweet chuckle rang in his ear and he immediately understood Sky has pulled a prank on him.

He was about to turn around to catch her when it suddenly started raining.

"Sky, lets go inside", he said while holding her hand.

"No, lets stay here and enjoy the rain", Sky said Calmly.

Elliot knew that Sky loves the rain, and he too loves it as it reminds him of some sweet memories of childhood.

He recalled.

"It's raining Sky, come inside", Elliot urged Sky when he saw her playing happily in the rain.

"No, it's the waste of rain if we don't come out and enjoy it", Sky said while jumping in the rain.

"Elliot, come here with me", she called him in the rain too.

Elliot was a very health conscious person even when he was a child, he liked rain but never stayed under it for fear of getting sick. But at that moment, he couldn't stop himself from going into the rain because of Sky.

"Ahaha, you came", Sky chuckled while running towards him.

"Yes. As long as you ask for anything, I'll do it", Elliot said dotingly.

"Lets dance Elliot", she grabbed his hand and asked him to dance with her. She loved dancing in the rain with her parents, she wanted to enjoy the same thing with Elliot and Elliot too, knew about it

That was the second time she included him in the things she loved the most.

"I don't know how to dance", he said shyly as he has never danced with anyone before.

"Don't worry Elliot, I'll teach you", Sky said with a big smile showing her cute little dimples.

She grabbed one of his hand and took the other hand and placed it on her back and then she placed her own hand on his shoulder.

"Now just move like this with me", She taught him step by step.

"Oh I guess I've got it", Elliot said while gently dancing with her in the rain.

"Are you enjoying?", Sky asked with a smile.

"Yes, I loved it", Elliot replied as he really loved how the rain was showering down on them and how they were dancing gently in the middle of it.

They danced there for an hour when Emily finally found them and brought them in as she was afraid of them getting cold.

He snapped back.

"Sky? Do you want to dance?", He asked her knowing her answer already.

"Ofcourse", she replied as always as she likes to dance in the rain, especially with him.

He took one of her hand and placed it on his shoulder and grabbed the other hand, then he put his hand behind her back and moved her closer.

They started dancing gently like they always do.

The song was also changed to Ed Sheeran's song "Thinking out loud"

They were lost in their own world while dancing on this song, they didn't even realise that the rain has already stopped, the sun has set and the sky was covered with darkness everywhere.

"Peep, peep", Mr. Frost's car just entered the manor and it's horn broke their momentum.

Sky broke free from his grip and ran down stairs to greet her uncle.

Elliot smiled looking at her running downstairs. Everyone thought that she was running to meet her uncle but only he knew that it was her habit to ran away from his like this whenever she snaps back.

He has already noticed her red ears. There was a wide smile on his face thinking about her.

"Oh uncle, you came back!!!", Sky asked happily and went forward to hug her beloved uncle.

"Yes my little princess", Mr. Frost replied dotingly. Since the day Sky entered their lives, he has always treated her like his own daughter as he didn't have one. He loved the idea of having a daughter more than having a son but he was disappointed when his first child was not a daughter. Later own, due to some complications, Mrs. Frost couldn't conceive again. So when Sky was brought infront of him, he vowed to treat her like his own daughter. He loved her very much and has always wanted her to become his daughter-in-law as soon as possible.

"I have bought some gifts for you Sky", Mr. Frost said while taking the gifts out of the car.

"Yayyyy!!! Uncle, you are the best", Sky screamed in joy.

"Thank you so much Uncle", she said while taking her gifts from her Mr. Frost.

"My pleasure dear Sky", Mr. Frost said while entering the house with her.

"I'll make your favourite coffee for you Uncle", Sky said, "you must be tired."

Mr. Frost looked at her with warmth in his eyes, "Sure little Sky, also tell you aunt I need to talk to her about something, I'll be waiting in my study room", he said.

"Okay Uncle, I'll tell her.", she replied with a sweet smile.

"Good girl", he patted her on the back and left the hall.

"I will appreciate too appreciate it if someone makes me my favourite cup of coffee", Sky jumped when she heard Elliot's soft and gentle voice in her ear.

He heart skipped a beat.
