Shattered hearts

She had her back against him in the bathtub while he splashed water on her shoulder and her chest, which was a little red and scarred, and she inhaled, looking peaceful, her eyes closed, as she snuggled her head against his chest.

At intervals, he picked up a soft sponge and brushed her shoulder.

"Went too hard?" he asked.

She knew what he was asking; he had ravished her like an addict at the sight of cocaine, and while he had whispered his apology as she whimpered, he didn't stop.

But she shook her head, "Just perfect."

He then traced her shoulders again. "We're even now."

'what"

"I marked you too."

She chuckled. "I didn't know it was a competition; I'll try harder next time."

He then held her chin so he could kiss her already swollen lips, and she reciprocated, not able to get enough of the bad boy.

He suddenly stood up from the water, leaving her frowning alone in the bathroom. If this had to go on for a few more times, she had to find a way to even forget about the fun Amara told

I hope Jane stays with them. It makes me nervous as to why Jane has never met her Grandparents.
