Maya's POV Alert signs filled my head, and so did the danger of my actions. There should have been another way to stop him, but where? Nothing came into my head at that moment except to kiss him. She watched him from where she sat at the edge of the bed; he was writing at the far end of the room; it was night, but he wasn't attempting to get into bed, and she was already drowsy.
