Ace

Five years ago,

We were supposed to be married, but Diya was having second thoughts. A part of me thought someone had just told her everything. She wanted to talk to me and she was taking the wedding dress off. She seemed to be in a state.

I rushed to where she was and hoped that she wouldn't leave. I don't think I had the strength to stop her if she leaves. I didn't want to think of that yet. There must be a better reason. Hopefully, the reason wouldn't make me kill off whoever warned her about my business. 

The moment I walked in and saw her, I just knew. Everything about all this was directing to her knowing about me. About all I did and what I still do. I tried my best to seem calm and asked everyone to leave. I wanted to talk it out with just her. She apologized, and I was uncertain if she was trying to make sure things didn't get ugly.
