"Aiden, calm down. We don't know the whole story." I tried to make him understand even though I didn't.

It was a hard line to cross, but I needed him focused. The pack needed him focused so we didn't have much time. The full moon is in two days, and we can't let the change of power ceremony take place.

"He is my father, Euphoria. How can he do that to me and my mother? How could he?" He paced in the living room, his fist clenched hard, and his skin turning pale.

I get that he was upset, but right now that's not what we need. I needed Aiden the Alpha, not Aiden the child. I wanted him to be able to fight this, and we can deal with everything that happened afterwards.
